The Day BL Stood Still Mikamon

It was a very bloody Sunday for four well known crews on Bootleggers. In a massive and unexpected spree, the bond between The Family and The Triad was announced to the Bootleggers community with a shower of bullets. Strictly Business and Event Horizon faced their downfall as they were left with no Boss+ accounts to hold their spots. Additionally, The Order and The Organisation were taken over.

Using around 3,000,000 bullets and killing around 250 people, it was one of the biggest sprees Bootleggers had ever witnessed. Crews that had always been seen as strong had been totally wiped, enforcing the effect of the spree. Although the Buzz tried, we were unable to get in touch with the shooters or members of the crews responsible for the shootings. With no real statement handed out, we were unable to bring you the reasons for the attacks. However, history does provide us with information. In the past, The Order had been attacked by The Triad and thus this could very well be a valid reason to attack again.

Right after the spree, The Family and The Triad had four spots at their disposal. Two of the spots were owned by The Family and one by The Triad. The last one was in the hands of Absolute Zero. However, Absolute Zero soon found its end as Strictly Business made its return, only to be quickly shot off the statistics again.

As the spots changed hands and disappeared from the statistics, it became clear that it was impossible to create crews, even though the total amount of crews was below the maximum of ten. This caused a stir on the forums, making it easy for Sabin to spot the bug. It didn't take very long him to fix this bug. As he did, the spots were quickly taken and the return of Event Horizon and The Order was a fact again.

At the moment, they still hold their spots firm. Although there has been a little hassle, the crews seem to be able to maintain their place on the statistics after this massive blow. It is impossible to tell if there is more to expect or if another spree of some kind will take place soon. We will just have to wait and see.
