If You've Ranked, You'll Get Spanked! DeliciousX

When I joined this game, I looked at the Nation Don and State Dons with envy and a great deal of respect, for they are the cream of Bootleggers, the most active players in the game, and arguably the most hardworking, for they have devoted hours, days, even weeks of their time to making it to the top.

I looked at the Legendary Dons with similar admiration. One day, I would also be one of the elite; untouchable, powerful, insanely wealthy.

Then today, I looked at the statistics page, and my eyes were opened.

Incredible. Incredible, that the highest ranking players in the game- those who should be all-powerful, universally respected, and utterly invincible... the highest survival rate of them all is 50%.
Interesting, too, that the lower the rank you are, the higher the percentage of alive players.
Why? I can only guess. Firstly, there are fewer Legendary Dons than Respectable Dons, meaning the kid who wants a bit of attention and glory can go on a killing spree and kill a higher percentage of them than the Respectable Dons.
Maybe all of the higher ranks are in crews... and as we all know, crew takeovers are commonplace nowadays.
I've also heard about people being killed for being Notoriously Rich. Killed to try and bring inflation down. Interesting concept. Anyway, as the higher ranks are naturally going to have more money than the lower ranks, inevitably it means the end of the road for many Godfather+.
After seeing these statistics, I'm in two minds in regards to doing OC's. Sure, I'd love to reach Legendary Don, maybe higher, but I don't want all my time and effort to be shot down in 30,000 bullets. If I reach the top, I want to stay there!
Just look at the states page. At time of writing, just 4/9 states have their own State Don. A new Nation Don seems to replace the old one at least once a week.

Maybe it's safer to stay an Assassin?
