The Black Birds land on the Stats Mikamon

With The Vanguard selling their crewspot, it was only a matter of time before a new crew would arrive on the statistics. However, the auction of the crewspot doesn't mean the end of The Vanguard. The crewobss, ThePhantomm (ThePhantommReturns), assured us his crew would only be out of sight would still remain active. The crew that came onto to statistics as replacement for The Vanguard was The Black Birds, which began its stay on the statistics.

The Buzz got in touch with donjostie, owner and boss of The Black Birds, and asked him several questions about his crew. In regards to buying the crewspot, donjostie said, “We bought it fairly from the former bosses of The Vanguard. We are former members of it and thought it was a nice idea to continue with the crew.” As for the price, he told us, “It cost 2k points. It wasn't to much to deal with for such a nice crew spot we thought.”

Donjostie also kindly explained what the crewname was based on. “We just thought it was a nice name. Black Birds are often seen as birds who are quite special, which we hope this crew will become too.” He elaborated a bit more about the hopes and aims of his crew. “Me and qui20 were looking for one but we didn't want to buy a new one from the dice games,” he said. Adding, “We are a new crew who are trying to live peacefully here. At least for the first two weeks. We don't want to start any war, but the people who are gonna try to take it from us, will get killed for it.”

As any crew that is new to the statistics, The Black Birds is also recruiting new members. Donjostie told us, “We are looking for loyal and very active members, who show their respect to other people playing. You need 1 vouch to join.” He also explained that his crew was aiming on a long stay. “Yes we do expect to live longer then other small crews,” he said. “We are gonna build up first, and we wont be starting crew wars anytime soon. We want some allied crews and just a peaceful time here.”

This concluded our survey of Bootleggers' newest crew. The crew has high aims, however, we are yet to see whether or not they will be able to realize what they have planned. “I hope that people will ask for an apply soon. We want to become stronger and more powerful,” were donjostie's final words to the Buzz. This crew definitely has the will to get far. Let's see if they succeed.
