Not so Eternal Labyrinth! IShallPersevere

This past week on Bootleggers has seen bullets flying left, right, center and everywhere else. It all began as The Syndicate, the crew which ‘does not exist’, began to shoot Eternal Labyrinth. The Syndicate had previously made itself known in shootings, with little or no failures, the crew had shown it meant business. The Buzz caught up with GoosyX, boss of The Syndicate, to see what the crew had to say on recent events, and what the crew would be planning next.

We began with the facts and figures. With so many high ranks involved in the shootings the Buzz recognised the fact that this attack would not of come cheap, and therefore asked Goosy how much had been spent and how many bullets had been used to conduct the attack. To this questions, Goosy responded, “About 180,000 bullets were already on accounts and then we added in points, somewhere between 17,000 and 23,000.” It appears this attack was expertly organised and executed, with such large funds The Syndicate clearly means business.

With little knowledge available to the Bootleggers users about The Syndicate, the reasons and planning of the attack on Eternal Labyrinth were not widely known. Therefore we asked Goosy these very things, starting with why they had chosen to target Eternal Labyrinth. His answer was simple, as he said, “Shot holders of ours in the past.” However with the amount of points spent on the shootings, this clearly had little effect. With many of the members of The Syndicate remaining underground until shootings begin, then displaying their loyalties, many wondered if the shootings of Eternal Labyrinth has been planned long term, or whether they were a sudden movement. We put this question to Goosy, to which he responded, “Long term aims had been to cause them problems, but myself and a few others started chatting and decided to shoot.” The planning therefore may not of been precise, however the execution of the shooting made up for this.

As the shootings progressed, many topics arose concerning them in the Game Forum. Progress eventually halted, and the shootings stopped. Many then began to question whether the attacks were a good attack, or a failed wipe. When asked about this, Goosy told us, “Nope, just too take out their high ranks. EL were late hitting our shooters, Well bubu2 from EL was searching but Adam (BTK) picked him off and then he later got banned.” Therefore showing that The Syndicate may even of been surprised at the lack of quick reaction from Eternal Labyrinth during the shootings. With the shootings finished, the Buzz also wondered whether further attacks would come. With such resources used on this attack, had The Syndicate got any more in the tank? Goosy promptly told us, “This is a long term thing.”

This is clearly then an issue which will not be easily forgotten, from the point of view of The Syndicate. However only time will tell as to whether the crew will continue shooting, or once again disappear from the users eyes' until they once again rise and attack. Goosy left us with the words “For now The Syndicate sleeps. I suggest you don't try to wake it.” A clear statement of intent for the crew, clearly feeling it has what it takes to trouble anyone who chooses to take it on. For now though, happy gaming!
