Notorious Times as the Gangsters Return TheTsjMustGoOn

This week saw something akin to musical chairs on the statistics page. One of the crews who ended up with a spot when the music stopped was The Notorious Gangsters. Of course, this crew is no noobie to the statistics page. It has been in and out of underground status a few times before. So what made them rise to the stats this time? We sat down with TNG boss, AaRoNftwBaCkagain.

AaRoNftwBaCkagain joined a crew at first to help out the boss with running the it. Soon it became apparent that the crew boss didn’t really have the stomach to do all the hard work that is needed in order to let the crew run smoothly. When asked if he wanted to buy, AaroN’s decision was a fast one. Since the former owner is a nice person, AaroN refused to reveal the amount of points included in the transaction. Before the crew spot came into the hands of AaroN, it was called The Casuals. The bosses of The Casuals bought the crew spot from The Syndicate for 700 points and told the Buzz they were planning to stay on stats for a long time. Evidently, those plans were not brought to fruitition.

AaroN explains that the structure of the crew is pretty well thought out. Bosses and an underboss instructing high council and recruiters on the tasks at hand and managing the day to day crew affairs. It had always been a goal of TNG to come back to the stats, but the time wasn’t right before. After surrounding himself with a few trusted people again, AaroN suddenly found himself in a situation where he could buy a crew spot for the right price. To Aarons surprise, a lot of people didn’t like TNG very much when they hit the stats last time. That will have to be changed and TNG will go to lengths to change that attitude. The crew does not want trouble and wants to be well liked in the BL community. Basically the crew is on the statistics page to enjoy its members, have a laugh and reach out to other people in order to make them realize how much fun TNG can be. To accomplish this TNG plans to remain on the statistics page for a while, but not too long. So contrary to most crews the Buzz talks to, the main goal of TNG is not to stay on stats forever and become the biggest and most feared crew on Bootleggers.

AaroN was very precise to the Buzz about what he is looking for in his members. “I expect my members to be loyal, trustworthy and to help the crew and other members. Also to help anyone who needs help on bl,” he said. Of course the members should be ready to defend the crew and ultimately die for it, but that won’t happen according to AaroN, who told the Buzz that he won’t allow situations to develop into such extremes. As a final note, AaroN added that he invites everyone to come and have a chat with him or anyone from TNG for that matter. TNG is a friendly crew and there is always room for more friends in its heart.

So the return of yet another crew from the past. This time it seems, a crew eager to redeem itself. Will they change their reputation for the better? Or might resentment in others run so deep that they won’t make the end of the week? Only time will tell my dear bootlegging friends. Only time will tell.

Please note that reading this Bootleggers Buzz article may result in light headaches, nausea and a slight sense of bewilderment. We the writers cannot help this.
