The Syndicate – No Longer Exists! IShallPersevere

With bullets being sent around Bootleggers this week like bootmails, many users' sense of surprise had evaporated as The Syndicate, the crew who had been responsible for much of this shooting, was wiped from the statistics page by widely criticised crew The Fatal Wounds. The wipe came as a result of the shooting of The Fatal Wounds Boss GodFotherV8, which the crew did not take kindly to. The Fatal Wounds ignored warnings from The Syndicate, and took the crew down in one go. The Buzz spoke to another Boss of The Fatal Wounds, FirstGoldenKing, about the shootings and the possible consequences.

With The Syndicate’s members being high ranks, the wipe was not easy. The Fatal Wounds did not wish to name its shooters, but FirstGoldenKing did tell us, “The Syndicate’s members were using the highest protection, so our shooters were each shooting about 50K - 60K. We used about 480p most of them.” Clearly then the amount of the bullets used to wipe The Syndicate were not collected in a day! However many claimed that TFW was simply using the MPOGD bullets. This will remain unconfirmed, however some may take this information to be correct or not if The Syndicate were to return, testing the ability of The Fatal Wounds to retaliate.

One of the things that has been highlighted over the recent weeks is the display of alliances in crew profiles, not least by a previous Buzz article. The Buzz wondered if these alliances had stayed or had been broken by the shootings The Fatal Wounds had chosen to undertake. We asked FirstGoldenKing about this, and he told us, “To be honest, some of them ran away and one of them asked us to remove them from the allies list on our crew profile. But who cares, now we know who our allies are and who aren't.” Clearly then, as many would have expected, some of these alliances may not have been as strong as they were presented. However after taking such actions, and with strong promises made by The Syndicate, many would not blame other crews for not wanting to be associated with The Fatal Wounds at this moment in time.

The Syndicate had not portrayed itself as a crew to be messed with, and its crew profile also stated that any crew or person who chose to wipe the spot, would be wiped along with associates. With no promises broken so far by the crew that ‘does not exist’, many believe it will quickly hit back at The Fatal Wounds. This will remain to be seen, however when asked about any possible threat posed by The Syndicate, FirstGoldenKing replied, “We don’t care. It was a revenge attack for our Boss GodFotherV8. No one touches TFW and stays alive, even if we kill all our crew we don’t mind it.” Clearly then The Fatal Wounds feel they are equipped to deal with people who shoot its crew.

Finally, the Buzz wondered if The Fatal Wounds would view the attack as worthwhile if it results in it being wiped from the stats. We put this to FirstGoldenKing, who told us, “Yes 200% worth it and we will still be happy. Then we will Kill TS again and again if needed.” This, as well as a clear statement of intent to The Syndicate, may also be a sign that The Fatal Wounds are trying to show the whole of Bootleggers it is not to be messed with. Will The Syndicate shoot back? Will The Fatal Wounds fire more bullets? Only time will tell, but for now, happy gaming!
