Establishment
The Spartan Warriors have been around on Bootleggers for almost two and a half years now and were founded on the 27th of January, 2005. Agis (Menelaus) and Youn started the crew after they expressed their personal want to be able to experience owning a crew rather than being part of one. At that time, they were lucky that a crew was for sale and without resisting for a second, "The Spartan Warriors" were born. The name "The Spartan Warriors" came from a crew vote. "The Spartan Warriors" believe in running a stable crew based on loyalty and commitment to the crew. In a stable crew, you will need stability in the leadership, which is also the case in this crew. Agis and Youn have been running the crew from when it has been started, during the game the crew has grown and we can welcome two new crewbosses who worked their way up; Appel and BartusaurusRex.

Recruiting
Seeing as "The Spartan Warriors" (A.K.A. TSW) are around for some time now (pre-reset and this round), TSW had to get the crew back on the stats a few times. The first time was after they felt it would be better to sell the crew as TSM couldn’t ensure the crew would stay on the stats for any longer. The second time was after the reset, they picked up a crewspot when the round just started. When Youn got banned, the crew was disbanded (after some miscommunication in the Elite Guard). After that we weren’t sure if the bosses would bring the crew back, but when the opportunity was there it was too nice to let slip past. Most former TSW members where grouped together in White October, when they decided to sell TSW bought it back to provide a new home to the ex-White October members.

Currently TSW are not recruiting any new members, when it will be reopened it will stay open. The recruiter works together with the crewbosses to decide who will be accepted and declined, however all members can give their opinions about every applicant. The type of players TSW are looking for are people who are loyal, committed, active, trustworthy and experienced. However you can never be sure about the insider stuff we try to recruit close friends of our current members only.

Problematic Members
TSW doesn't have a general guideline for problematic members, since almost every case is a unique one. Most of the time TSW discuss the member with the current online bosses and decide what to do.

Members can cause a whole lot of different types of trouble for example: A unsuited remark in the forum, scamming or killing without permission.

TSW bosses know of one occasion when bosses game permission to kill a problematic member; he was holding crew property when he suddenly got locked out of his account. We killed him and retook our property.

Uniqueness
For players who have seen the move 300, "THIS IS SPARTA!!" For all others, TSW can't really say how unique they are compared to other crews. However, being a crew for almost two and a half years now, makes us one of the oldest crews which are still around. Some people from the old days have quit, some of them still play and everyone seems to stick around in TSW, we try to make everyone feel home.
