Solutions to Scamming NineFears

Hey everyone,

Since this is my first Freelance Article go easy on me. This article will go through some easy stratergies to "beat" scammers without doing it the hard way "Hitlisting them with a abussive message". I hope you all enjoy it though!

So what exactly is a "Scammer"?

A scammer is someone that is out there looking to make some money off people the easy way - using personal loop holes. It seems these days the most common scams are around the Dice games, OC's, Loan areas. BUT please note as more and more players become aware of scams it means the "professional" scammers are just comming up with new ideas every single day! I know what you guys are thinking "How would this guy know anything to do with scamming?" well to answer your question I have been playing BL for about 4 years so I know how everything works, and as lame as it is last reset I was a "professional" scammer because I was either too lazy or just couldn't find a way to make money. (Don't worry I play clean now and I make graphics to get money)

Ok so some solutions to these problems? First of all some people get angry at staff when they get scammed and go complainin that BL isn't secure enough and it is BSF's or any other staff members fault. Well those people are wrong! Scams rely on the fact you will be stupid enough to fall for these "deals" or whatever the situation may be. So here are a few tips for certain situations (remember there will always be new scams out there):

Loans: The thing with loans is...DON'T DO THEM! There is a 99% chance the person asking for a loan has got a dupe just ready to recieve the money you send them. The fact of the matter is the only time you would ever want to consider a loan is if it was your best friend that you COMPLETELY trust and know will get the money back to you. Not people with usernames like "pussy666, HornyGirl, timmy69482".

Dice Games: Normally dice games are trusted IF they are hosted by known players that do dice games every now and then. Usually if the dice game has a set out that makes it so the host doesn't make any profits it can be trusted. For e.g.

"NineFears dice games presents:

A 10k entry fee dice game that has 10 spots and the pot is 100k.

5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10."

BUT always check the hosts profile normally if they are a well known player they won't have any sh*t paint pictures in their profile and you can tell by that they aren't a complete idiot.


OC's: Now most people know how to prevent OC scamming and it is most definately the easiest! If it is a custermised percent OC just make sure you accept the invite but don't buy your equipement until the Leader has finalized the percents. As for Leader get's all OCs where the Leader is FSA I STRONGLY RECOMMEND not joining. It is screaming out "I am ready to piss off with your share and send the money to my dupe"

Well guys I know this was long but I hope it has helped just the slightest bit. I intend on doing some research on recent BL scams going around so I can inform you on how to get through your BL career without losing any cash to "scammers"
