Need a garage? Refugee

Most of the so called ''old school'' players surely remember the safehouses which were located on the Establishments feature. Everyone was using them, and at some points it proved to be an expensive, yet effective way to protect your crew, bullet factory, casino, and in real extremes, your account.

But suddenly the feature was removed from the game. Many argued that it was a bad decision made by BSF2000. Soon after, rumors that the Establishments page is coming back with all kinds of new features started flowing in the Game Forum. Players were saying that BSF2000 intends to add an option to build a business on the land, and therefore giving players a new chance to make extra money.

But weeks went by and nothing seemed to be going on. Everyone eventually forgot about the old feature and started to move along. But then, all of a sudden, the feature was introduced back into the game. With a new, and in my opinion better layout. But instead of safehouses, you can build car garages. Which is understandable, since the personal garages each player can own, can only hold up to 5 cars. And with the new Auto Burglary, cars just kept on disappearing.

With garages being able to hold up to 100 cars, it is a great opportunity for some players to make money. And lots of it. So maybe this is the solution many hoped for. Something to save their cars. But can we expect a major inflation, and big prices for the use of the garage? Only time will tell.

BSF2000 was kind enough to provide the exact times for when the States opened up their lands to the public. California was the first to open it's doors at 5am Bootleggers time. If you were unlucky, and could not get any land in the states that opened up (they opened up in a time space of 2 hours), you had to wait for the last state to open it's doors. Colorado, at 9pm Bootleggers time.

Unlike the old version of the Establishments, the owner of a land can actually sell the land he or she owns. And if you do not like the building you currently have on the land, you can destroy it. With land value increasing each day, and more and more people want a piece of land for themselves, could this bring kills for land back into the game, like the old days?

One thing we do know or can at least speculate over is that there seems to be a strong possibility that more buildings, in the near future, will be available to buy/build. What future buildings could these be? Only time will tell!

In the past couple of weeks, we have seen a lot done on Bootleggers and the Administrators have proven to be hard at work to provide us all with an enjoyable game filled with old features with new style. Let's hope it only gets better!
