To Crew or Not To Crew HolyMoly

Most people will agree when i say that at some point in their Bl life they have strive to be a part of a crew . Some may even set their sights as high as to obtaining their own crew spot. The question is why ? This reset has shown that even the strongest crews can fall at the drop of a hat no matter how high your ranks or how many State Dons you may have it seems that although being part of a crew may have its added bonuses; for example, family unity, a private forum, cheaper weapon and protection upgrades in most cases and for those lucky enough the chance to climb the crew hierarchy. Whether it be a council position or even as far up as under boss, the opportunities are all there for the taking.

What do the players think? The editor of the Buzz and HDO Nyxxie(kins) , whose over 10 deaths have been due to SOLELY crew attacks stated, "I find that being in a crew is an accomplishment! With only ten crews allowed this reset, the crews that are there and their members have something to be proud of. Death comes with the game, you just have to chalk it up and move on when it happens."

"Being in a crew is great! Hardest part is not always agree with all members and their decisions. This can cause problems and inner-crew turmoil," says Steeler1.

"Taxes are the worst part of being in a crew! I know they're necessary for the crew to hold their place on the stats, but that's the only thing I don't like about bein0g in a crew," says former Apocalypse member, iDidntExpectThat.

"What I really enjoy about being in a crew is the crew forum. Especially The Supremacy's crew forum. I have been in several crews this reset and none compare to the TS forum. Another thing that is great about being in a crew is the opportunity to really meet new people," says Chr1sVMoreThanMea.

Putting it simple, iBarvok closed the topic with, "Not being in a crew means more life-expectancy."

So, it seems that being part of a crew really does have its rewards, but also it's cons. The alternative is, of course, the underground crew scene. Whether it be joining an existing one or following the recent trend and starting your own it seems that many are favoring this option to the real deal. Why? Is it the temptation of disappearing into the shadows falling off the Bl map altogether to buy bullets religiously for one or even two months ready to return to the game with a bang.

It's too close to call, each option is very much the others opposite but after weighing up the advantages and disadvantages for both sides there is still a decision to be made , To Crew or not To Crew?

For those who struggle to make the decision then Bl can never have too many forum whores!
