Late into the night on New Years Eve Sabin had added a feature that allows you to commit suicide. By committing suicide you can go to the Kill page and scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure you meet the requirements. The requirements are that your account must be 3 days old and have $500 or 100 bullets. Finally, you must have e-mail verification. At first, it was alright for hitlisted players to commit suicide. However, ten minutes later, thanks to a suggestion, Sabin changed the permissions, making it so hitlisted players can no longer commit suicide. A concern with people was "Will the normal dead screen appear? Allowing you to create another account and still keep your points." and the answer is yes. Following that, people asked "What happens when you click the Suicide button?" - once clicking the Suicide button a confirmation box appears on your screen saying are you sure about terminating your account? Click No and nothing will happen but clicking Yes sends an e-mail to the address you entered as for your account upon registering. The e-mail looks like this.

Someone, most likely you, has requested termination of the account Username. This e-mail was sent to determine whether this request is valid. If you do not want the account terminated, you do not need to do anything. If you wish to proceed with termination, please click the link below:

Once clicking the link, your account will be terminated. As the new Suicide feature has been added the TOS (Terms of Service) was updated making every user re-agree to the TOS upon logging in again. Within that, requested bans will no longer be given out to players. Simply, if they would like to terminate there account, they now have the Suicide option.
