The First Bootcast Idols Nyxxinator

Players waited close to a month for Bootleggers version of American Idol, dubbed fittingly as Bootcast Idol. It took a lot of organization by Head DJ, LadySylv and Senior DJ, DJSkinny, and after long anticipation and excitement, on March 1st, ten talented singers took the stage for a very bountiful prize.

"It wasn't hard to put the Bootleggers Idols show together as we didn't had a lot of entries. Surely we would've been much more busy with it, if we had more," stated LadySylv in an interview with the Buzz shortly after the long-awaited competition.

Funded by the Bootleggers Administration, all participants automatically received a whopping $10,000,000 for sending in a serious singing clip. Following, first place winners in each of the two categories were to be awarded with $100,000,000 and second place winners in each of the two categories with $50,000,000.

Judging the two categories of Pop and Rock were Moderator Annihilation and Help Desk Operators Kayasaurus, Takamine and Nyxxinator. "For about half the contestants it was easy to separate into a "No" category. The top 3 was rather difficult to choose who was number one," stated Takamine.

"There was some really great talent and as far as choosing the top winners it was difficult with the range of talent that sent in entries," added Kayasaurus on the matter of the difficulty of judging.

In the category of Pop music, there were a total of six participants; Mathmos, Zoria, SN4K3YBOY, rssie, TREX500 and LadySylv. The judges chose Zoria as the first place winner and rssie as the second place winner.

In the category of Rock music, there were a total of four participants; Desolated, DJSkinny and KingIsh. The judges chose Desolated as the first place winner and KingIsh as the second place winner.

"I'm sure we will do the BCidols show again in the future. Everyone was enthusiastic," stated LadySylv, "The Bootcast is always worth listening," she concluded.

To become a DJ on the Bootcast, send a clip of you speaking as if you were a DJ on live air (ie: introducing a song) to sylv.bl@hotmail.com. Proper English is a must. It doesn't have to be fluent but you have to be able to speak it. "The main thing for a DJ to have fun while on air. It doesn't matter if there are 3 listeners or 30. If those 3 people are happy, the DJ should be too."
