Rankism, the new term we created! CharlesLucianoV

In our bootleggers world, we find all types of people; people who lack class and intellect to have an insult-free argument, snobby people who think they got it all, and we have people who stereotype based on rank! Yes, rank.

The debate regarding whether high ranks should ask for money or points to let a lower ranked player join their Organized Crime (OC) has been going on for ages. The matter is highly debatable as one team thinks that by ranking and spending hours of crimes and bootlegging should give you an advantage on players who as some say: "want the free ride". The other team sees that a low percentage offered to the low rank by the high rank should be sufficient.

It's highly agreeable though, that no matter how low ranked a player is, he\she has the right to get their Bootmail (BM) answered. The rudeness of low ranks has caused turmoil recently. The hitlist got filled with high ranks being hitlisted by lower ranked yet more powerful (financially) players. The matter became a problem now.

As a community we need to address this matter, it is understandable if a high rank doesn't want low ranks into his\her OCs, and it's understandable that due to the vast amount of Bootmails they receive they may need a while to reply, point remains though, they should at least have the courtesy to reply!

Being a usual low rank (due to being killed constantly), some players don't see how the higher ranks who just "play" to rank, and no one hears of them are real players. They are seen by some as greedy machines, who OC to reach high ranks without taking any risks. Taking risks in the game is seen as playing the game, but again, that's an opinion and may not be a fact.

The debate can never stop, no low rank would be content with high ranks unless he\she themselves reach the high rank, and feel the power trip. Maybe yet, BMs would be answered out of courtesy eventually!
