Establishment Scams IsolatedFTW

Last week, I have been the victim of an establishment scam. Establishments and a few screenshots can both be a pain to your Bootleggers' wallet.

We all have seen the ‘establishment sale’ topics inside the classifieds. Yet, there are scammers on the lurk. During an escrow you, the buyer, cannot view the current value of the seller his establishment. The only way to confirm the current value is to ask the owner to make a screenshot or you have to believe the owner on his words. Both are not 100% trusted.

Some players are very handy in using and in faking of screenshots. They can add the current time, their location, and most important they can add fake values on their screenshot. These players can add anything they want on their screenshot.
Example: The seller can tell, and show you a screenshot of an establishment with a worth of 300 million. You commit an escrow and afterwards the establishment seems to have a value of 3 million.

Conclusion: You got scammed (297 millions of cash) and the screenshot appears to be fake.

If you prefer to own a high valuable piece of land, do not buy them at the classified; there is a chance of getting scammed. I recommend that you should buy a cheap establishment instead. Secondly do have some patience, the value will increase with 3% a day. This is the most save and best way to earn some money..

Perhaps the administrators should add a new feature on escrow . After adding an establishment in escrow, the current value of the establishment should appear. With this new feature there is no possibility of getting scammed. But, this is just a suggestion.
