The Other Side of Rankism ImFuckingMattDamon

Recently everyone on Bootleggers has been talking about 'rankism', the phenomenon that high ranked players won't OC with low ranked players. Apparently it's discriminating and people are whining about it and jumping on the anti-high rank bandwagon.

Well I'm sorry you got killed, banned, or whatever excuse you have to be a low rank (mine is not playing anymore), but hitlisting and killing people who took the time to rank up and not die is just ridiculous.

You want to be treated equally? This is not Communist Russia, people aren't equal. Go play a Communist game. Maybe 'bootleggerski.ru' is your kind of thing. Seriously, it's stupid. Do you realize how incredibly hypocrite the whole matter is? Allow me to elaborate on this amazing phenomenon with some easy examples everyone will understand.

Would you trust a low ranked player with your account's safety in an OC? Would you pick him over a high ranked player who has a lot to lose as well? I know I wouldn't. In office, you wouldn't choose a new guy over an experienced and proven competent employee. In football, you wouldn't choose a rookie linebacker over Ray Lewis. (if you disagree lrn2football)

Anyway, you people are treating it like the higher rank players are being unfair for choosing people who have a greater chance of not messing up over yourself. Some of the stuff I've read in the forums made me think we were back in the 1960s and my good friend CharlesLuciano was Martin Luther King fighting for the rights of African Americans.

That's about it. Please, for your sake and my own, don't be a complete hypocrite next time you jump on a bandwagon. Sure CharlesLuciano brings up a good point, but rankism? The next thing you'll know they'll be making a Ku Don Klan. Heh. KDK. Sounds pretty good.
