A new page. A new Era? luco

Last night, the boolegging world witnessed the dawning of a new era. Ok, maybe that was a bit far, but there is a definite significance to this update. We were blessed with a brand spanking new log in page, of which detailed many things. Quite the shock. How would the bootlegging population react?

In short. Not well. It got slated. People said "It's tacky" and quotes such as "Thanks BSF, we're now just another tacky online mafia game" were all too common. So, it appeared what originality bootleggers had; had been all but lost. Some players couldn't even get back in, saying that the page just didn't work on FireFox. One person even made a RIP thread, entailing that bootleggers is now dead. Fairly extreme. Who would of thought that one page could cause so much controversy? BSF probably did in truth.

However, in amongst all this chaos, we must look deeper into what this will actually bring to the game. Sure, you get your odd one or two who like to talk rubbish about everything that's done in the game, but last night, it was the general populous who believed the update was of no significance. So what does it bring? To us already playing the game, it gives a topic to discuss, and something new visually. However, for those who are new to the game; it gives an all important first impression. Maybe BSF felt that the old page was just too bland, and that it had to offer something new, more cutting edge to keep up with its competitors.

Also, we must just look past that it is just a new picture, it's not, it details more what the game is about, and gives round information. Quite significant to a player who is contemplating signing up. I mean, for example if you put the two log in pages together, 9 out of 10 times you're going to pick the new one. It's fact, that the human race are drawn to brighter, and more significant images; which is demonstrated in the new log in page.

So, I think before we barrage the forums with negative comments, we need to look further into the update, and perhaps realize that BSF's world does not revolve around just us, and that he is trying to expand the game further. Plus with all these updates, and seeing dreamnid online so often, I think there's perhaps a reset we should be planning for.
