This week saw a change in the Elite Guard as now ex-Moderator Annihilation informs us of his dismissal.
This surprising event happened on the 28th of July at around 7PM. The news was met by disapproval from the masses and very few people seemed happy to see Annihilation (or Annie) go. This alteration to the Elite Guards list of Moderators also brought about a very serious question: Why?
Yes, it seemed that everyone wanted to know the reason for Annihilations dismissal. Unfortunately, the Elite Guard were unwilling to comment on the reason with Sabin even stating that it wasnt his place to say in one topic. Well, as always, we at the Buzz endeavour to find out this sort of information, and we did.
When the Buzz confronted Annihilation after his resignation topic was made, he stated, "the short version is I was fired." He came to divulge to the Buzz that, "my attitude doesn't fit BSF2000's image for his 'Elite Guard'"
According to the ex-Moderator, Annihilation was removed due to inconsistent work as a Moderator; Annihilation agrees that his work on the Help Desk wasn't as consistent as it could of been and he adds, "I could have done better."
So, it seems Annihilations side of the story would be that he was inconsistent. As we were unable to get an approved, official answer from the Elite Guard, it seems that Annihilations viewpoint on this is the only one we will be able to provide for all of you.
No matter what the approved, official reason may be, one thing is certain. Annihilations dismissal did not sit well with the players. A few even stated that Annihilation was the only good Moderator left. For now it seems were going to have to say goodbye to Annihilation again as he steps away from his position and wish him all the best for the future.
