Date display gets updated MikaPika

A little while ago, another small updated was installed into Bootleggers. Now, you can acquire more information about a person by clicking on 'Date Joined'. By doing so, you can see when the player originally joined, shown as 'Originally Joined', and by clicking it again you can see when the person has last logged in, shown by 'Last Seen'. The 'Originally Joined' date is the date the user first registered an account with his or her current e-mail address.

The opinions about this update differ. Although most people like the 'Last Seen' addition, some don't really like the 'Originally Joined' update as this last update makes going Underground (UG) harder. A player that wanted to go UG would usually suicide his or her account and create a new one with a name people wouldn't see as him or her. Now, it would be possible for players to track people that are UG down by looking at the 'Originally Joined' date. Now, a player that really wants to go UG will need a new e-mail. However, by doing that he or she will not be able to retrieve points through the Dead page. For those of us that really want to disappear, this update isn't really handy. The 'Last Seen' update is one that players had suggested multiple times. By adding it to the game, the Elite Guard shows that they do listen to what their players want, even though it's a little update.

As opinions differ, it has became easier to see if someone is inactive or not. Normally, only a crewboss could see when his or her members logged in last. Now, everyone can see if their friends are still active or if people they want to contact have been online or not. The new update might be a small one, but we can put it to good use.
