An Unwelcomed Reminder GodZillaV4

Bootleggers' previous server came back to haunt some members this week but don't worry we're all safe, the old server just wanted to take a chance out of its retirement to say 'HELLO!' Most people know that if you do not sign in to your account on a regular basis the site automatically generates a courtesy e-mail. This e-mail reminds you of what your missing out on by not playing. They are sent out after around 2 weeks of inactivity, the e-mail outlines that its been a while and that you should pay the game a visit.

Around the middle of this week a few Game Forum topics appeared regarding the previously mentioned reminders, and after a small amount of reading it became clear that the problem wasn't that they had received the e-mail but the problem being that the account it was sent for was well and truly active! Everyone received one, even moderator Andy admitted that he'd had one arrive in his inbox too, and that there was something fishy going on and that it was being looked into .

On Friday evening BSF2000 released a Game Forum sticky admitting the fact that there was an issue stating. "It seems many of you have been receiving an "Bootleggers.us Misses You" e-mail lately, even though you've been actively playing. I was as shocked as you were. It turns out that those were being generated by the old server, which is still up and running (though, not being used). So your account on that server hadn't logged in for 2 weeks, thus, you received the e-mail. I have since disabled that feature on that server. No need to panic!"

So with seemingly nothing to panic about , although the panic had already reached full swing and had started to filter out by the time the information came to light. People once again continued on their daily duty's realizing the fact once again, that the game wasn't about to fall apart in front of their very eyes, nor were any dead accounts set to be revived in some mass server problem, although very appealing it sounds BSF2000 and company were on top of the problem.
