AW Matches; Who Wins Them? Mikamon

The discussion about who wins an Arm Wrestling (AW) match if both players have an equal amount of skill has been held many times. Some claim the starter of the match wins, others say the outcome is random and then there is a third party that claims the win/loss ratio has something to do with it. The Buzz decided to ask Sabin to find out who was correct. However, even though we asked we were left to find out the script was bugged but we did get some nice information as well.

When asked, Sabin happily provided the Buzz with information about the AW script. Sadly enough, we were unable to find out what we had actually intended to report on, namely who wins an AW match if the players are equally skilled. Sabin told us, “The script is currently bugged, so it's not certain how it pans out. Sorry, wish I could help more.”
So for the time being, we can conclude that the match outcome would in fact be random. Yet, using a bugged script might not be so wise. Although those of you that want to use the AW feature badly, can probably do so safely.

Now that the Buzz had an answer, we continued by asking if the script would be updated soon, and who would win the match in our scenario after the update was completed. “It is not yet known,” Sabin told us. “When the update is made, there will likely be some enhancements to the class structure, and more interesting methods for determining the winner and loser.”
As for when this update would be released, Sabin was a bit sad having to tell us, “I wish I could give a better approximation, but the best I can give is "by the end of the year".”

So, although the script is currently bugged, players can look forward to seeing an updated AW feature in the future. A better fine tuned class system and hopefully a system of which it is known who wins when two players have the same percent of skill. Should that last thing be unknown, you can count on the Buzz to find it out for you. For the moment, Sabin is working hard for us to implement the update, let's hope he succeeds.
