Strictly Business Wiped! Joke

For the very first time this round, we were able to witness an extraordinary and very well organized attack. Smoke and Mirrors unleashed their bullets on Strictly Business because of threats they were receiving from The Syndicate. Eight members of Smoke and Mirrors, organized by Gunchip, brought down nearly forty-five members of Strictly Business in only three hours from the first death. “We are out for a long standing war against TS, and we feel prepared.”

The Buzz was able to get in contact with Silky, the boss of the entire Smoke and Mirrors and Regulators enterprise, through sending a bootmail to Gunchip, one of the crew holders for Smoke and Mirrors. Silky had a lot to say about the wipe, and we here at the Buzz would love to let him tell the story. Unfortunately, we were unable to get in contact with anyone from Strictly Business before the publication of this issue, so all the quotes in this article will be of Silky.

The reasons for the shooting were unrelated to Strictly Business, their involvement with The Syndicate was accidentally disclosed, and became the tangible targets of The Syndicate. A week before Smoke and Mirrors bought the New York Bullet Factory, members of The Syndicate got in contact with Smoke and Mirrors and asked if they'd hold the Bullet Factory for them, and through those talks, it had slipped that Strictly Business was holding the Nevada Bullet Factory for them. They eventually purchased the New York Bullet Factory because they had the opportunity to, and they wanted a Bullet Factory of their own.

“Almost immediately after purchasing the New York BF earlier this week, members of The Syndicate tried to threaten us over the property.” Although Smoke and Mirrors don't usually take threats seriously, “to The Syndicate's credit, we usually don't take threats to be much more than just that; actions speak louder than words. But we respected their threats enough to want to take action before they came after us. We weren't going to back down from their threats. It didn't make a lot of sense to us to get a property then immediately cave in to threats by them. So, we wanted to take down a crew that we knew had dealings with The Syndicate. We made the decision that we were not going to wait around for The Syndicate to shoot us over the NY factory, so we went out and laid claim to the Nevada Bullet Factory. Our intentions were to signal to The Syndicate, first, that we wouldn't give in to threats, and second, just let them know we're not going to just wait around for them to come after us. Gunchip spoke with The Syndicate afterward and they knew we had got them this time.”

As for the coordination of the shooting, “Evert, Raoul, fedt, IssuI, Phriendly, Gunchip, Teekayoh, and Shooter were the shooters, fantastic job by those gentlemen! The speed with which this was executed was due to their work as shooters in coordinating with one another and the work done by Gunchip in pulling this all together. What we really wanted with this was a shooting that the members of Smoke and Mirrors felt like they could really be a part of. Their A-game is really what made this work It might sound cliche to say it was a total team effort, but, that's exactly what it was. As a boss, it's always good to watch those around you pulling strings and getting things done.”

The plan behind the wipe was just as eloquent, “Since SB had the Nevada Bullet Factory, (which they were holding for The Syndicate) their BF holder was the first to be shot and we took the BF. Then we took out their boss+ accounts fairly quickly, but, to their credit, they slipped in a couple players ranked above boss in order to keep their crew around for a little bit longer. Since those players weren't on search by us going into the shooting we had to keep after them. fedt, Raoul, Phief the other shooters and the rest of our crew stepped up and pang'd 'em good. So, took a couple more hours to finish them off as they kept adding, but we got through and dropped the crew spot from the stats.” Because of rumors that they had insided Strictly Business, Silky announced, “we didn't inside SB because we didn't see that as necessary. I mean, we're from 2004, man. Using an insider means one thing to me: shooting less bullets. Sure, sometimes necessary, but something about using less bullets just doesn't seem as much fun.”

For the conclusion, Silky wanted to say, “The part that feels the best about the whole thing is that we went into this not really knowing what our place was in this game. 'Are we just those dudes that had a run in 2004 that can't hang anymore?' We fully understand that this shooting doesn't cement us a place in this game; In the relative scheme of things I don't know yet where we fall and we absolutely have a ton of work to do. But, we were always a crew that planned things very well and let them fall into place. You need to crawl, walk and then run. Through the hard work of everyone involved, we showed today that we're ready to run.”
