The Vanguard Taken Over iCypha

After being the first crew to hit the stats at the beginning of Round six, The Vanguard lost their position to Grand Hustle and Omerta. Vaseline was the brain behind the operation, as he was in the middle when the event unfolded. The Buzz tried to contact Vaseline, but he refused to comment on the take-over.

A player who did not wish to be named was told to apply for The Vanguard. After doing so, he noticed that not a single member of The Vanguard was to be seen inside the spot. He was informed that Vaseline had insided The Vangaurd and witnessed how the spot was given to Riley. We spoke to Riley who told the Buzz, "Some dude got the spot, randomly gave it to me. I didn't want it so I gave it away."

Within hours, the crew spot had switched ownership again. This time. its new owner was outacontrol. We asked if he was a member of The Vanguard and if he could give us a little more information on the take over. "I am not. Just bought it then my friends told me forget about the crew thing... Now selling it," outcontrol replied.

Now in the hands of another player, we were contacted by Phil2036, who informed us, "I've come to a conclusion that im going to join my stoned partner and bring The Weeds! to the stats were goin to just chill and get stoned. As it was still unclear as to why The Vanguard was attacked, we caught up with Blink, Boss of The Vanguard. He said, "We accidently shot people we weren't after, which we apologize for again. One of those was the boss of The Family. After this they started shooting us. When the crew dropped to an Omerta member who was in The Vanguard to help us out after being shot by The Syndicate. From what I heard from Omerta, they were told to hardkick us all by The Syndicate."

The Vanguard, thought to have been off the stats at this point, had other plans. They managed to get an insider into The Weeds. The insider, Supernova, was more than happy to inform us of the take over. "I just applied as normal. Wasn't hard. I just told them what they wanted to hear," he said. After which he added, "We plan to prepare for the next lot who think they're good enough to shoot us. We never go away!"

The Buzz has been unable to contact Victory for information on how many bullets were used in the attack. What we did learn was that the takeover may not have been needed; we were informed by Phil2036 that he would have given the crew spot back to The Vanguard if only they had asked. Still, the crew chose to use the way of the mafiosi and shoot its way back onto the statistics.
