Tight Squeaks More Tweaks Makem

This week we saw two updates, one of which is the crime percentage update and the other being the crime payout/values of certain items tweak. After a certain amount of controversy in the Game Forum of players displaying their disregard for the current crimes and payouts BSF2000 and 5litre set to work on updating the current issues.

The first feature to be updated was the Crimes feature; as promised, the percents and crimes needed to max crimes out were changed. Luckily 5litre took a few minutes out of his very busy schedule to answer a few questions for the Buzz. We asked 5litre if he could comment on the recent crime update, to which he kindly responded, “The way the crimes were set prior to this patch was that it would take a huge amount of crimes in order to max them all out. The chances of someone maxing them all out would have been near impossible. This patch fixes that problem and all I ask if that players give it time. We're open for suggestions and tweaking it further if need be, but for the time being, just give it a chance for a couple weeks and see how it goes.”

The Buzz then pressed on to ask or there are plans to update the crimes again. “As of right now, there are no plans for changing the crimes or adding more,” 5litre said. “However, that is not to say that it won't be done.” So with no plans in motion for further crime updates it would seem the recent crimes will stay the way they are, which is good news for the players who gave the update the thumbs up.

The second update concerned price and payout changes this topic arose when players showed a negative response to the payout received from their crimes and the prices of some items. Taking their players into consideration, BSF2000 and 5litre made an attempt to alter the feature again. There were questions we at the Buzz felt needed to be asked and yet again 5litre was on hand hand to help us.

We were curious to find out what had encouraged the update of the prices/payouts. 5litre told us, “The prices before were giving very little profit. This was due to battle inflation early on in the round. Since the game is a little more established, we thought it was a safe time to raise the payouts/values of some items.” It would seem with the game becoming more popular by the day the prices and payouts were raised to benefit the player with very little money to make more from crimes and the sale of there items.

The final question the Buzz had for 5litre was what are you and BSF2000 hoping to gain from these changes? His response to this was simply “Not really hoping to gain anything,” he said. “Just felt it was worth the effort the players put into the game to get something more out of it than a small profit.” So there you have it readers, the changes were simply put in motion to benefit every one on Bootleggers for their hard work and effort.

I would like to thank 5litre for taking the time from his busy schedule to answer the questions we at the Buzz had for him. On behalf of the Buzz Team we hope you enjoyed reading this article and until next week readers, stay safe and live wise.

Makem.
