Retirement Week: Betrayal or Coalition BuzzLew

Earlier this week the Buzz received inside information about a topic posted in The Order’s crew forum. This topic was created by Renton, who is now OneEyedWillis. It described the crew’s retirement due to changes in the way in which the game is played. It also described how “Last round, TO was dropped 3 times. Already this round, we've dropped once.” So it seems The Order has chosen to honour its reputation and the name.

However, this may not be the end for TO. The retirement followed an invitation to members to form a coalition crew, a short extract of this follows.

Quote:
We're starting something new. We will be merging with The Invisibles, with whom we have worked closely all round. They will be retiring the name of TI as well. The joining of the two crews will be something completely new. We think it is going to be very successful, but just like everything, it will take time and effort. If you would like to stay, you are more than welcome to do so.

Upon learning this, the Buzz team contacted both parties in order to gather more information on the crew merge. Both crews, however, came across very reluctant in helping us as it seemed they didn’t want you the Bootleggers community to learn of this news. This may leave you wondering, was this merge supposed to be secret? And hidden from those who weren’t involved, could this new crew have been an underground force? Well what was to follow somewhat answers these questions.

On Saturday, Roxanne, more commonly known as Himmel, one of The Invisibles many Boss’, insided The Order whilst visiting the crew. This seemed to be no ordinary inside job, no kills were made and TO members claim they weren’t hard kicked. The irony in this is, last time TO retired their name they were insided by one of their own members, who the boss was stocking up with the crew bullet stock. It seems they have gone in the same fashion again. This however throws a spanner in the works. Was this planned, or was the future merger in limbo?

The Buzz asked SpaceGiraffe why they chose to inside their future partners. His reply was, “That little leak in TO ruined made us start to think they are just a bunch of noobs, So we insided them” we can assume the leak he speaks of is the information we received.”

To sum up, whether this merge has been foiled by the release of this information to the Bootleggers community is unknown. A new crew to the game 1337 Guard appears to have both TO and TI bosses and members, but without cooperation from the two crews the Buzz cannot say for definite whether this is the merge in practice. We the Buzz will leave you to make up your own mind on this.
