New Player Project Nyxxie

I died. It was a good run while it lasted. The good thing that came out of this all was that I relearned everything that was lost by being a member of staff, or by a player who just ran through the motions. You tend to forget the fundamentals of the game when all you do is log in, chat in the forums and OC when you have to-- not really grasping the full game to it's potential by using other means to rank up.

I remember Sabin stating that a Don who only ranked using Organized Crimes and failed to take advantage of Booze Runs, crimes and Auto Burglary was easier to kill than those who did. In retrospect, that makes a lot of sense and I wonder if it's true. I don't know how many bullets were used on my account, QuarkyDesires, or who even killed my account (because I simply don't care), but I am wondering if more were used because the player who killed me knew my stats, or if they just shot like they would towards any Boss account.

Regardless, it was a great experience for me and I think every member of staff and players alike should once in a while try their hand at fully ranking to get back the aspect the game is trying to achieve. Remember, if all you do is log in, OC and chat on the forums in the meantime... a dead account isn't really as detrimental when no effort was put into it and let's face it, when all you do is OC and chat on the forums, no real effort is put into it.

I think if people start putting some effort into their accounts, the game will turn around a bit for the better. More kills will be made in revenge simply because you'll be a bit more peeved off when an account you spent day in and day out ranking dies, than one you just rank as a side job.

Anyway! I hope you all enjoyed it while it lasted!
