The Family: Bullies without a Conscience or Rebels with a Cause? SprintingTurtle

They've become known throughout the game for their less-than-fair tactics of killing everyone before they can become a threat. Most of us have woken up dead, frustrated that we died for no reason, but what's really going on here?

According to a senior member of The Family, they are "the 15 best Bootleggers players." That a group of people could dominate the game in this way is impressive, but that there are just 15 of them shows you how dedicated they are. "We had the money and power to shoot most of the accounts, so why not?"

But what would make a group of people come together to spoil everyone's fun? "To show people what we can do with only 15 people. A reset would be good as well." Fair enough you might think. What better way to show there is a problem with the game than to break it? The problem is all they are proving is that the players have given up. If someone where to really challenge them, how should they go about it? If the situation were reversed, how would The Family stop it? "Make a list of their names, try to find more people, and do the same as them. Kill them till they quit."

What about the legality of this all. Do they stick to the rules? "Yes, we played fair. We bought bullets from factories and from points, so nothing we did was illegal." Surely they couldn't achieve this without some form of cheating. "No need for dupes. Everyone gets guns, and it's rare that we need more than 4 shooters at once."

Now that they've made themselves the dominators of the game, would they disagree with the idea that they are responsible for subverting the course of the game? "No, that's right." How do they feel about contributing to the decline of players lately? "No regret."

What does the future hold for The Family? "Don't know, think keep going like we do now." What would they like to see happen the game? "A reset."

So you decide. Is The Family just a bunch of bullies, spoiling everyone's fun? Or is it possible they're trying to provoke the rest of us in to a game of 'Catch The Family'?
