Crew-rise! MissVanish

It is not in our line of habit to write an article every time a new crew makes it to the stats-page. But the last two weeks were just a little different. Not just one, not just two, but six brand-new crews took a crew spot from the stats-page. Because Testicles of Fury is for already quite some time the only crew on the stats-page, it is quite remarkable that suddenly (in only two weeks) six crews joined the club. Which means that, together with the Elite Guard, there was a total of at least seven crews. It has been a while since that has happened.

The three news crews that joined us last week are the following :
Peewee’s playhouse, a crew that was on the stats page already a few weeks ago, but got wiped not so lang after that.
The Revival, a crew that brings some flashy colors to the pie chart with its Lime-green crew-color.
No Name Necessary, a crew that couldn’t figure out an original name on time.
The first question that pops on my head when I see a new crew these days, is if they are related some way or another to Haters Gonna Hate or Event Horizon, the two crews that dominated the stats-page for quite some time. So that is also the first question I asked each of the 3 crews, and I received 3 times the same story as the answer :
‘No, we are not related to any other crew. We are just a group of friends. One of us managed to rank to boss, and we decided to use that advantage to make ourselves a crew. We hope to make the game more fun that way.”
When I read that story for the first time, I thought: Well, isn’t that just the whole point of this game? Having some fun with friends?

Another question I asked them, was if they were not afraid of being wiped any moment? When you hit the stats-page as a crew, you are in a way in the spotlights, what makes you an easy target. The Revival and No Name Necessary both told me that they just want to last some time, and hopefully get through to a lot of players with the message that this game is far from over (unlike a lot of players think), but that new things can happen anytime.

Peewee’s Playhouse was a little different, because they hit the stats-page already once, and got wiped very short after that. What they told me about all this, was the following : “all they did was shoot redvine(spencer) our holder. He was the only person in the spot who was ranked boss so naturally the spot dropped. Wiping us isn't a big accomplishment. Hell, even Ben's done it before.” Only a few days after being created, No Name Necessary got wiped.

The three crews that joined us this week, are these :

The Buffalo Soldiers is a family crew. They say they are not in the game to dominate or to do useless killing. “Our main goal is to protect and help our members, and we will try our really best to create a safe place for those who wants to bring bootleggers back to what it once was. By that i mean, people should be able to rank up and play the game without being killed because they made it to assassin.” So speaks Merzacy, crew boss of The Buffalo Soldiers. The crew was founded in the 5th round of bootleggers by (at that time) idlebong and babywipes.

Veterans Resthouse, founded by 3 players of the old Virtual Reality. As you notice, Veterans Resthouse starts with the same letters. They are, just like Black Caps, only here to make the game more fun and to show all the BL-players that the game still can grow!

The most important message that all of these six new crews want to send to all the players, is that this game has the possibility to come back alive. But it’s up to the players to make that happen. It only takes one boss-rank and a group of friends to create a crew. Who said this game was dead? It’s far from over.
