Blackjack: Hit and Miss Executor

Blackjack: Hit and miss

In years gone by, Blackjack tables were valuable money making tools for Bootleggers. These days, they’re the cheapest casino for players to get their hands on. With maximum bets rarely over the $2,500 minimum and holders often risking little with minimal amounts of cash on hand, the Buzz got in contact with some gamblers and casino owners to get their opinions.

The first Blackjack table owner that we contacted was Popyes26. He informed us that he bought his table for a mere $50,000. When you compare this to the current price of Slots (averaging around 700-800 points), you can see why he may have thought he was getting great value for money at the time.

He followed by saying, “But now it turns out to be a bargain for the guy that sold it -at first I had a maximum bet of 2.5k which made the BJ seemed inactive, so I raised it and that made me lose 400k”.

It looks as though low max bets mean low losses. Popyes26 swiftly sold his table, cutting his losses, “I sold it again for 50k which seemed to be a bargain again for me!”

User mickymoo has had a slightly different experience with his table, “I would not say they are the best casino to hold and they are very risky... the odds are 50 / 50. I have always seen profit. Right now 66k profit but 15 minutes ago it was more around 220k profit so up and down. I can not really tell you how much they are worth as supply and demand play a roll. One bet of 100k and you can either be 100k richer or 100k poorer. So price of Blackjack really can vary.”

Seasoned veteran gambler with many, many years of experience, noggin says, “Blackjacks are in my opinion only ways to lose money. People buy them, keep the max bet low and when they do finally raise they lose them. I have owned quite a few in my time and only seemed to lose money and the only way to get rid of them is to give them away.” He continued, “Trying to gain a profit with them is like a gazelle trying to eat a lion. Never gonna happen.” Good to see he hasn’t lost his sense of humour. Many gamblers after going through what he has at the casino have been worn down and been shells of their former selves. This gambler stands strong through these torrid times. We could all learn from him, if only we had the same resilient outlook on life.

Another issue often raised by Blackjack holders is players not finishing their bet if the have a risk of losing. The player is unable to travel with a pending bet, however it has been suggested that a timer would be an easy solution to implement.

So overall, it seems, Blackjacks are a great way to lose money. Having said that, I have made profit in the past from these tables, so maybe it is just down to a bit of luck.
