Poison, The HDO, Buzz Editor and Exploiter....lol wait what?

The Game forum came alive on Monday when a topic was made called "Im curious" by Username, The topic with seemed to have an innocuous enough title however contained proof that that none other than the HDO and Buzz Editor, Poison was exploiting.
The crux of the thread was that Poison had used the hitlist to exploit who the single R don in the game was, Plax.
This caused a certain amount of reaction from the bootleggers community.

So if I report a bug on forum I get banned for telling people exploits.. But if you do it on buzz its all ok?

If this user isn't banned for it, nobody can be banned for it.
Most of these gangsters were outraged however some were denying that it every happened like afty.....

How are we abusing the feature? We attempted to hitlist someone and found that we didn't have enough cash.
However most people seemed to think this was incorrect, As it contracted exactly what he said in his Buzz article "The First Respectable Don" the previous day... perhaps his satire worked in the buzz but his bullshit wouldn't wash in the Game forum.
And then the man in question appeared.... the Illustrious Poison, who made this statement...
The reasoning behind this was to find out if this reported bug was in fact happening, so that we could report on it in the Buzz which we have every right to do.
As an aside, we managed to prove that plax was the R Don and decided to report on it. I think the main difference between this and what another player would do is that it wasn't for personal gain, although I can't comment on whether it is still abuse of a feature or not.
Some players found it strange that the bug was not reported in the buzz, the article in question, even the Moderators seemed to be in the dark about Poisons actions even....
He then called the participants in the thread Bitter and announced he was thrilled with reaction he had generated saying it made the buzz feel like a real newspaper.... Rupert Murdock watch out.....
Then in waded the green beret Mika with a statement, Who amazingly wouldn't ban Poison....
I've banned an HDO in the past as well and I'm still here.
As for this matter: it is true that the feature was used in a way other than the purpose for which it was intended.
I regret that it happened, especially after the issues with accounts going on vacation.
Similar to the players who went on vacation, Poison has been reprimanded and warned. The Buzz team will be in a second (after I finish my topic for the Buzz Forum).
This far from settled the Bootleggers community with cries of favoritism for HDO's... Inconsistency with bans and general outrage that a player that exploited wasn't going to be banned.
The Question now remains... Will this blow over for Poison, Will the bootleggers community accept a HDO that uses Exploits and will the games lose credit for not banning an exploiter.
