Early in Round 7, I was often clicking the Stock Market link. As I work in the field in my actual line of work, I liked to think of myself as a bit of an expert and I did make a fair bit of money bit by bit. It was a great way for me to get started.
However as time has passed, I have been less and less likely to make the effort to monitor the Bootleggers Stock Market. Increasingly have I relied on booze runs and organised crimes (as well as the occasional bit of gambling) as my main sources of income.
It seems that the more booze I am able to carry and the more I OC, the less I notice the relatively small amounts of cash I made buying and selling shares. All too often, I found apparent bargains crashing; maybe do to lack of activity in the market, but it would offset the work I had done to get my meagre profit in the first place.
All in all, maybe it was my laziness or lack of enthusiasm for the feature, but it was not worth my time any longer.
I contacted Avicii when I saw a Game Forum post stating that he had made $700,000 on the Stock Market overnight.
He says “I don't use Stock market often, I'm most of the time broke, but when I see them cost: $10 I always buy some. I think I'm in like 3mil+ in total with the stock market. My advice for people who want to earn money from stock market is to buy them if you see they keep raising.”
So it seems with patience and perseverance, there is money to be made in the Stock Markets!
A feature for the lower ranks in the game, perhaps. Another tool in order to get you started on what is a difficult journey for the new player on Bootleggers. What do you think?
