First of all, apologies if this article is short, wrong and without any quotations from anyone involved.
The whole situation started when a member of Tactical Anarchy and Order was shot while holding a casino. It was claimed by TAO that someone from 23rd Gunslinger Co was behind the shooting. Coastie alleged that the witness statement was a fake or incorrect. The dispute continued until TAO responded by shooting Coastie and Yazoo, the people in control of 23rd.
The 23rd decided to respond to this by shooting anyone they could find that had ever been associated with TAO. This included players that had since left TAO and joined other crews. Sometime later Coastie posted a topic in the game forum explaining that he hated TAO and would shoot anyone that he suspected of being an associate of theirs. He also stated that his shooting of TAO members had “pissed off three crews”. At the time of this post I messaged Coastie and asked for details on which crews were pissed off, but he stated that someone else from the Buzz had already been in touch with him.
One can only assume then that one of the crews pissed off was Event Horizon, who have been relatively quiet this reset. Members of 23rd were soon being shot by a supposed EH member, Sparkle. The crew wasn’t completely wiped, but a large majority of its members were killed. The crew spot has since been sold to The Massino Family, with many 23rd members deciding to go underground.
Is this issue over with? The answer is: probably not. Why are TAO involved in every event on Bootleggers? I guess it’s in their name. Where there is anarchy, they will be found.
