Boston Mob, is a crew which was sitting on the stats this round, but now they are in the spotlight. On Tuesday morning, Boston Mob got shot by Gainer, a shooter of The Black Horde (TBH). After three kills the spot dropped to Gainer and he started to hardkick the members. When the killings were finished the crew profile was changed, the crew profile only contained a picture of The Black Horde, a well known crew from previous rounds. Colorado's bullet factory, property of Boston Mob, was dropped and picked up by user Halfsack_Gutbuster. Eventually, the bullet factory went to Advocate, the boss of The Enterprise. Many events, so we at the Buzz went out to try and find out more.
The Buzz tried to get in touch with the shooter, Gainer, for further information, but unfortunately he never responded to our multiple messages, so we went to The Black Horde. They didn’t want to give us any information about the shootings, but they admitted that they were behind the shooting. There were rumours that the costs of the wipe were around 1,000 points. Shooting a crew like Boston Mob wouldn't cost as little as 1,000 points. So what happened?
Using 1,000 points and killing more than 30 accounts? Yes, it is possible. In the game forum were rumours that the shooter used a lot of bullets which were in the crewbank of Boston Mob. Time for us to have a look at the other side of the story! We at the Buzz contacted Distance, council of Boston Mob, to ask him some questions regarding the shooting. First, we asked him how it was possible for Gainer to join Boston Mob. Distance replied that "It appears Gainer did not fill up any application as he was one of the first members to be inside Boston Mob and was well connected with one of the council members". He further explained that there were approximately 150,000 bullets in the crewbank. This explains why Gainer only needed 1,000 points to shoot all the accounts of Boston Mob. Distance told us that Boston Mob was aware of the fact that they got shot by The Black Horde. "KanoX has made clear that the shootings were directed to Colorado Bullet Factory" as Distance stated. This means war? It certainly seemed a likely outcome; Distance replied that "Actions out of revenge hardly bring any success. It is very difficult to put The Black Horde on your 'target list' seeing they are an underground crew’."
After a few hours Gainer got killed by Boston Mob. We asked Distance, what’s next? He replied with: "Every member has lost something important, for some it's money, for others it's rank, for others it's their gymnasium level. We have lost some, which is normal, but nothing we can not get back. The most important person to be shot was Gainer as he was holding our crew spot and is the only member of The Black Horde above ground". Shooter killed, check. Crewspot back, check. The only thing that they didn't seem to have sorted was the recovery of their Bullet Factory, Distance stated "We currently did not make any contact with TE nor did they make any contact with us". But what if The Enterprise doesn’t return the bullet factory? Will Boston Mob take any action? Distance replied with "‘If’, there's a word I don't like to use". Distance didn't want to give out any more information about The Enterprise. Time for us to get a cup of coffee at The Enterprise!
We contacted Advocate, the boss of The Enterprise, regarding the bullet factory. We asked him if he was aware of the fact that it’s the property of Boston Mob. He replied: "Yes I did, I didn’t want to get into a Russian roulette over the BF and let someone else get away with it". We were surprised so we asked if The Enterprise is planning to return the bullet factory. Advocate stated, "They can have it back for the price I paid for it". Now the only question remains, how many points did he spent? And sit tight, really tight, because he bought it for 8,000 points. We asked him if The Enterprise is allied with The Black Horde. "Not at all" was his reply and that was the end of our interview, because we didn’t get any more coffee.
But this story wasn’t at the end yet. The next day, Wednesday, an anonymous shooter appeared: Comanche. He killed seven accounts of The Enterprise, and dropped Colorado bullet factory. This was the perfect opportunity for Boston Mob to reclaim their property which they took right away. A few hours later Comanche and members of Boston Mob got killed by The Enterprise. Once again, Boston Mob lost their property. Time for the Buzz to get out again. This time with our own coffee!
Our first stop was Distance. We asked him if Boston Mob were behind the attack on the few members of The Enterprise. Distance told us that the shootings were done by Comanche and that he’s not associated with Boston Mob. But why would a regulator shoot those accounts? Distance agreed, stating "We knew that when Comanche finished his shootings, they were going to be linked to us". We guess Boston Mob got lucky with this ‘bored’ shooter, but they don’t have their property back. So we asked Distance if we can expect some action soon. He replied: "It is pretty obvious now that The Enterprise is linked to The Black Horde, we need to give these actions some time in order to come back with a concrete answer to these actions. We did expect The Enterprise was linked to The Black Horde, the shooting of The Enterprise to Boston Mob have confirmed this". Our cup of coffee was empty, it was time to move on!
The second stop was Advocate. His opinion about Comanche was pretty clear to us. Advocate stated: ‘He is a hired gun. Like last round, shoot anyone for money’. Advocate had his suspicions about the shooting but he found it irrelevant. We asked Advocate if The Enterprise was behind the shooting on Boston Mob, he confirmed this. Will Boston Mob needs to wear helmets instead of fancy mob hats? Advocate stated: ‘People and crews come and go. Properties change hands and actions are taken to protect and obtain them’. We continued asking if Boston Mob shot The Enterprise, would they shoot back? The reply of Advocate was very clear to us: "I think you know the answer to that". It looks like Colorado bullet factory has switched owner, for now.
But the story continues. We at the Buzz thought these happenings were done, but all of sudden we received an anonymous tip just before publishing. It was a tip off from an ex-member of The Enterprise. He told us that they never bought Colorado bullet factory. This ex-member showed us several topics in the crew forum of The Enterprise. In these topics Advocate warned all members to watch for Colorado bullet factory, because it would drop in a few hours. If anyone asked questions, MaBarker gave them the simple instruction:
IMPORTANT:
When players outside the crew ask you if we are holding the BF, just tell them we bought it from the one who picked up the BF after it dropped!!
In this topic, it was stating that several ‘UG-allies’ would back up for them if anything happened. But who are those allies? And was this anonymous tip correct? Last minute or not, we contacted Advocate regarding this information.
TE Crew forum, a few hours before the wipe of Boston Mob*.
We asked him why he wrote those topics and if they were true. He replied that "we heard about the upcoming shootings and planned to pick it up. But unfortunately someone else did, so I had to buy it. Otherwise all crews were going to shoot for it and the first crew to pick it up would have gotten it". We asked Advocate who gave him this information but he didn’t want to give out his sources. Our next question was regarding the ‘UG-allies’ of The Enterprise. In our previous interviews Advocate always claimed that The Black Horde wasn’t an alliance of them. So who are those UG-allies which are ready for back up? He stated: ‘I will not comment on our UG allies’. But what about The Black Horde? Are they really not allied? His answer was clear, "No". Still, a lot of rumors are saying that those crews are allied. How is Advocate looking at this? He stated that "Everyone has their own opinion and they can think and believe what they want. Other people know for sure we are not allied. So it's all a matter of personal opinion". So all we can do for now is wait… Because this is definitely not over yet!
The Buzz thanks Distance, Advocate and The Black Horde for all the given information. We at the Buzz wishes Boston Mob all the best to build up again. Will this story be continued? We at the Buzz will keep you informed of any updates in the next issue of the Bootleggers Buzz!
