After the successful release of a new batch of missions I intend to talk to some players who have completed them and ask how they stack up especially compared to the missions of previous rounds. Missions in previous rounds have always recieved a lot of criticism, in the past a player could stack up around 30,000 bulets by simply working their way through them.
We hope there is now some degree of balance with the new missions, do the rewards make the effort needed to complete them worthwhile? Are they enjoyable? I go in search of some players who have completed them and ask the questions I feel need answering.
I first found CharlieScene who is currently working on the very last mission, I asked him if he found the missions particularly difficult;
I wouldn't say they were difficult at all. The deusenburg one is an annoying one because of all the essexes you get first, but even that mission is just a matter of time. Of course, Bim's Mission Guide does come in really handy.

Bim's Mission guide on the Game Forum does seem to be a hugely helpful tool to players when completing the missions, and kudos to him and his collaborators on making information on the most recent missions available so quickly after the release.
I also talked to iceking about his experience with the missions, I asked him if he enjoyed working through the missions and which one was his favourite and why, he responded thusly;
I liked the new missions so far! added something else to the game besides the usual things! Made people scatter around other states rather than just being in specific states for their booze routes or crowded jails!
So far mission 9 (Duesenburg mission) was the hardest in my opinion! made people try and steal cars rather than just buy them for a high price and finish the mission in few minutes!
I think my favourit would be mission 7! it added teamwork to the equation and made a different twist! people might have found it hard to find a partner but it would probably make you sort of friends after staying in touch for an hour throughout the mission.

So it seems the dreaded "Penny Duesy Mission" is back from previous rounds, some forward thinking players have all ready started placing themselves in Pennsylvania, and trying to make money by selling Dusenburgs from there, very good business sense I feel. In the Penny Duesy mission of old, you required three Dusenburgs from Pennsylvania, but there were no stipulations about how you acquired them, meaning wealthy players could easily bypass this mission by simply buying relevant cars, to stop this happening this time around you need four Dusenburgs from Pennsylvania, however only two of them may be purchased, at least two have to be stolen all by yourself.
So it seems if you are set on completing the missions, you need to put in much more effort than was previouslly required, if so, are the rewards a worthy repayment, I asked the questions, and here are the responses I recieved;
The rewards seem to increase accordingly as you go along the missions! so far it seemed good until I reached mission 11! The cost was around 300k and getting paid 2.6mill for completing that is quite a high price in my opinion! i think a mill would be more than enough! On the other hand, it does take the most effort as you need to travel to 4 different states and bust people for long periods!

oh they are deffinately worth it! i can't say experience wise, but the financial reward is definitely worth it! last round with the missions you would put in more resources than you would get out, but with the new missions it's actually worth it to do them.

Well it seems at least from this small sample that the missions are both enjoyable and worthwhille to complete, a perfect combinations, but we must talk about progression now that we have a taste for updates, I asked what would you like to see from future missions?;
The best mission... I liked the booze running missions the best because they are more interactive than let's say a jail bust mission. You know when you'll be done and it's not as much left to chance. What I would like to see in the future is more connectivity in the missions. Maybe kind of like a story line to link them together.

This is a mafia game, I would want to see atleast one mission that requires us to shoot someone or wipe a small gang!
