A warm welcome to you all fellow Bootleggers, to this; another edition of FlameS Hot Topics. After a few weeks off from my weekly, we returned with an excellent response to discuss, “stats crews” versus “underground crews” and still had time to touch on scamming.
I am full of expectation as I sit here writing the article this week, the topic up for discussion is certainly one of the more exciting features in the game, and it seems the wider community would agree, as I received my best response yet.
So for those of you who haven’t yet seen it, the topic I asked for your opinions on this week, was that of casino odds, specifically the odds for winning (or losing) on Race Track and Keno.
As always I provided you with some provoking questions for you to formulate your opinions around, this week I asked;
Casino odds have been widely speculated over for a long time, especially in Keno and Race Track. Do you believe that the game is coded to be entirely random? Do you think certain numbers/colours are more likely to hit? Do you think the size of your bet alters your chances? These thoughts and more please.
As something for you to possibly mention in your feedback, the odds of hitting on keno (As previously provided by Sabin are below), would your experiences with Keno back this up?
10 = 1 in 8,911,711
9 = 1 in 163,381
8 = 1 in 7,384
7 = 1 in 621
6 = 1 in 87
5 = 1 in 19
As previously stated a huge response was received, thus I cannot share all of your opinions, but here are some of the ones that I collected;
Computers do not do random. There has to be something somewhere in the program that makes it produce the numbers. I went through a stage of winning 2 keno's a day just by predicting when the 7 and 8 numbers came up. It proved an effective strategy to bet small and after a few 100 bets bet big. It worked for me and I'm sure a fair few other people. That's just my view and not proven.

That can be random.
If you for example buy a keno which had a good profit. You will probably lose it pretty fast.
Did that today actually. Bought a 6 mil profit keno which he had been holding for 24 hours.
I buy it, and lose it in 20 mins for a 8 hit. Random? Nah.
To day have been a shit day for keno gamblers. People have over 1k clicks without hitting 7 or 8.
Everyone says its easier to bust kenos now days. and I agree, just some few days its just wont hit.
If I play active, I hit 8 numbers at least twice a day.

What do you think it is that determines whether it will be hard or easy to bust?

It’s understandable though.
I have a theory about casinos. You either have a casino, which is easy to bust, or you have a casino which is a hard time busting.
Like the keno that girl made 94 mil. I had 2,5k clicks without hitting 7 once! It’s meant to get a profit.
Same with RT's. sometimes you have 5-70 clicks without getting green.. it’s not completely random at all.

A lot of people on here don't understand gambling. It isn't guaranteed, no matter how many times you bet on the same numbers! IF it was, I'd be a f*****g millionaire irl.

Some very interesting theories here, the word random was used in nearly every response I received. Some players like noggin seemed to base his opinion more logically in terms of coding and how computers display “random”. Redwood seemed to think there was slightly more to it and seemed to bring in some sort of theory about the history of the table.
What is interesting is that in all of the opinions that were shared with me via Bootmail, not one of them mentioned the word “Luck”. Quite astonishing to think we are discussing gambling. Does this mean that the majority of players think there is strategy that works more than not? I included a post by Spidah from the Game Forum which I feel sums up at least my experience with gambling.
Thanks to all of you for sharing your opinions with me, unfortunately this must remain speculative as I cannot provide you with a definitive answers about how random casino odds really are. So for now I will leave you with one final thought of; gamble safely.
