A Few Harmless Questions powerbear

This week in the Game Forum, there was a topic with a link to a questionnaire asking your views and experiences with the Banking options within the game.

Thank you to all those that responded, as you expected nearly 90% of players keep most of their money in the Federal Bank.

Only 5% of players stated they use the Swiss Bank. 10% of players would share a Swiss Bank account with their friends.

There are a few comments suggesting the Swiss Bank is too outdated. What does it really do? The Swiss Bank keeps money separate to your playing account, so if you die, your money stays in the account so you don't lose it as you would if it was in your Federal account. This comes at a cost however. 30% cost to be exact.

With such a high toll on your cash, is it worth it? Many players stated they use points instead. Some of your comments will come later.

What is done with the money earned from interest? Gamble, re-bank, giveaways, buy bullets and points and also pay crew tax were all answers. Also one person says they swim in it. Strange fellow.

A few of your comments regarding the Swiss Bank are now coming.

"It ought to be more integrated with the game. You should be able to 'sign in' to your account and control it more directly than the few simple radio buttons."

"The Swiss Bank feature is useful if you have a lot of money and are willing to afford the 30% transfer fee. I personally prefer points over using the Swiss Bank. However, the feature can be really useful for groups of players who work together to always have a (small) part of their funds available for immediate use via the Swiss Bank."

"The feature is a good idea, however points can be used for a similar outcome. Plus points gain value on as the market value increases. So you stand to earn money rather than lose 30%. If I trusted friends, we could pool our money together and have a communal pot so if one of us gets shot there is OC money available."
