Poison, a player who was active on Bootleggers for a very long time. He was a DJ for The Bootleggers Bootcast and he was part of The Buzz for quite a while. This round he got promoted to Help Desk Operator, a tough job which takes a lot time. And if that wasn’t enough, he also got promoted to Buzz Editor. Poison, a player with a great career and great ambitions. Two days ago, a topic appeared in The Buzz Forum, Poison resigned.
According to Poison, he resigned because of his current situation in real life. He stated: ‘I quit because I have a lot going on in real life and I can't give the time I think the Buzz deserves, and therefore I don't think the issues I delivered were of the quality I would expect. I'd rather not do a job at all than do it half heartedly’. A respected decision, but very surprising in my opinion. The Buzz went to his Buzz colleagues to ask their opinion about this big surprise. We couldn’t contact a lot writers though. A lot writers are on vacation at this moment. Nevertheless, we started with FlameS, who was also very surprised. He told me: ‘I wished he would reconsider, as his work on the Buzz and Help Desk was very good for the game, but obviously real life comes first, and since that is the reason, he is doing the right thing’. We also contacted Mika, who replied: ‘I am sorry to see Poison leave the Buzz. He was a good Editor and was doing a phenomenal job. Nevertheless, real life comes first so I understand his decision. Good luck with everything, you will be missed at the Buzz’. Finally, we asked the opinion of the new writer Sulphur. He stated: ‘He was a great editor and a very important part of the team. For me personally, he helped me get into the swing of things and helped me understand how The Buzz worked as the newest member. I'd like to thank him for taking the chance on me’. As you can see, all writers respects the decision of Poison. I, personally, am very grateful that Poison accepted me as a writer a few months ago. As I noted before, Poison has always been a great leader and a great friend. I think I can speak on behalf of The Buzz that the whole team is deeply grateful for all his hard work and dedication. We wish you the very best in real life and we hope to see you back at The Buzz whenever you are ready for it!
We asked Poison for some final words to The Bootleggers Community. It wasn’t easy for him, since he already wrote his opinion quote a few times in several Editor notes. Nevertheless, he had something: ‘Stop moaning about everything. Don't like it, leave or do something about it to make the game better’. Typical Poison! Everyone will have his/her opinion about Poison. Everyone has the right to express that opinion, but I would appreciate it if everyone could show respect instead of moaning and complaining this time. Poison did the best for the game; the game which we are all still playing. Goodbye Poison.
