So, another bug has emerged for Bootleggers and this bug prevents crews from being dropped if they fail to pay crew taxes. We know this bug won’t be fixed for the upcoming 12 months (or 12 years) so Mika and Aldarion took the opportunity to introduce a game that they have been planning for a while – The Hunger Games! The game is very simple, Mika & Aldarion have taken over the crew spot which was supposed to have dropped, (MobbFigaz), and turned it into The Hunger Games base.
There are six districts, each with 10 available spots. From each district, only two players will be chosen to go through to The Hunger Games as tributes, giving us a total of 12 players fighting for the grand prize of the crew spot, with enough money in the crew bank for a name and colour change, 2,000 points, a Caddilac V16 Armored Limousine and a M1919 Browning .30 Cal. The way to win the game is to be the last person alive – This means kill or be killed. The full outline of the game and rules can be found on the Game forum Sticky.
The 12 tributes are:
District 1 tributes: Cockroach & bilnader
District 2 tributes: EddieMorra & SpectreN7
District 3 tributes: milswanca & Dave
District 4 tributes: Nereus & ReggieKray
District 5 tributes: krait & LilWayne95
Wildcard tributes: timeless & FlameS
Day 1:
The first five tributes have been selected who are vulnerable to being attacked between 08:00am – 06:00pm Bootleggers times. The first five tributes are FlameS, milswanca, SpectreN7, EddieMore and finally Cockroach. So, the targets were set and the tension was raised. Who was going to survive the 10 hours, if anyone? What are each tribute’s game plan? Go all gung Ho and take as many out as they can? Lie low and try stay invisible? Maybe act like an assassin and stealthily take out each person one by one? Well it looks like FlameS went for the Gung Ho option as he killed SpectreN7, milswanca, EddieMore and Cockroach all within 6 hours. This now leaves him as the only target left against the eight other tributes for the final 4 hours. Will he survive day one? Let’s see if anyone decides to take out the mass killer.
Day 2:
Once again, more tributes have been chosen that will be vulnerable to attack. This time the three tributes are Nereus, LilWayne95 and ReggieKray. After seeing FlameS wipe out the other four tributes yesterday, was anyone going to step up to the plate and take out the favourite player to win The Hunger Games? Guess not. FlameS ended up killing these three players too, bringing his tally to seven kills. It seems he is unstoppable at the moment.
I caught up with LilWayne and asked him about his experience of The Hunger Games. He told me that he was glad he got chosen as a tribute as he was finding the game was getting boring. He enjoyed The Hunger Games, even though he didn’t survive for that long, but would have thought the game would’ve ran better if the old kill system was still in place. LilWayne wasn’t that bothered that he died as he never went in with a game plan, but he does think that The Hunger Games have helped the Bootleggers community a bit, bringing something new to the game, but the bugs need to be fixed ASAP.
Day 3:
Two more tributes are put up for target practice. The two that are now vulnerable to attack are Bilnader and Krait. Who will be the one to take them down, could be anyone but once again only FlameS steps up to the plate and kills Bilnader. Krait managed to survive the day but how so? I asked FlameS as to why Krait is still alive and he said “I let Krait live as he promised not to search me, had him on search the whole time just in case but he was true to his word”. I then asked him why did he keep him alive, when only one can live at the end? His response was that judging by Krait’s stats, he is the only one without the resources to make a decent attempt on him. So it seems FlameS is playing a tactical game to win and it does seem to be working so far.
Day 4:
Day four and we’re down to four tributes. FlameS is definitely the hot favourite at this point, claiming all kills. Seems the other tributes just cannot match this standard. Two tributes are now vulnerable to attack and these are Timeless and Dave. If you’ve read this article from the top it will be no surprise to you when you now read that it was once again FlameS who killed both of these accounts. This now leaves Flames and Krait as the final two tributes. The time has come for the grand finale. Both have come so far and survived for a long time but only one can stand superior and win The Hunger Games! Who will it be?
Well, I can now tell you, and it may come as no surprise to you readers, but at 20:04PM BL time FlameS tracked down Krait and killed him, leaving him the last tribute standing therefore making him victorious! FlameS managed to kill all 11 tributes and not get shot at once, that is some feat.
