The sound of singing birds, that’s how you want to wake up on a Sunday morning. Too bad, because this Sunday morning was totally different. No birds, no singing, but weapons firing were the only sound you could hear on the streets of Bootleggers. This time Event Horizon and La Onda were the unlucky crews. But why would someone shoot those crews and maybe more important; who? Last minute or not, The Buzz tried to find out!
Our first eyes went to The Phoenix Rebellion. They shot two crews yesterday so they were our prime suspect. We at The Buzz received a lot witness statements of players, a big thanks for that, but all were under the 50%. It’s understandable though, Sunday morning, we at The Buzz also had our problems with opening our eyes this morning. Nevertheless, we all contacted the possible shooters, bots excluded. All the witness statements we received seemed fake, so we at The Buzz were at a loss. Who could possibly shoot Event Horizon AND La Onda, without getting noticed? Again, we looked at The Phoenix Rebellion. We noticed two accounts, who weren’t in the crew yesterday; Zan and krink. The daily back up just finished and both players were online. Very suspicious, so we contacted them. We never received a reaction from Zan, but krink was friendly enough to react. A reaction with little content though. He was claiming that AntoninoT, the bot, was responsible for the killings. A strange reply, because when you’re innocent you deny any involvement.
We noticed an online member of The Phoenix Rebellion, FlyingDeathSquirrel. Could he give us any information about the involvement of his crew? We contacted him, but nevertheless we received a message in the same style as the previous bootmail. According to FlyingDeathSquirrel, IreneJohnson, another bot, was responsible for the killings. But again, they didn’t deny any involvement.
Our apologies of the short article and the lack of facts and opinions of crew bosses. The shootings happened just before we wanted to publish The Buzz. Because of this, we weren’t able to have a good conversation with the crew bosses of La Onda and Event Horizon. We promise you another article in the next Bootleggers Buzz, with more details about this major happening!
