A few years ago, there was a feature called Bootcast. It was the one and only radio station at Bootleggers. A small group of players were the DJs and the listeners could request their music. The Bootcast got removed a few years ago. A lot attempts were made to get this feature back, but without success. This round there was an attempt by Option, an old DJ, but he didn’t succeed. Is this another attempt? Maybe, but let’s start with some good memories first!
The Bootleggers Bootcast had quite a lot DJs and they all had a different style of DJing. Some DJs were only playing music and some DJs were only talking about ridiculous things or Bootleggers. Personally, my favourite DJs were Sylv and Mags. They were the most active DJs in my time-zone and they were not only playing music, but were also talking in their shows. And most of the times that talking was just hilarious. A great example of that was DJ Mags. Mags was a player from Australia and during his shows he talked till your ears were bleeding. His typical Australian accent, made me laugh already. ‘Shit’ and ‘fucking’ were the words that were repeated many, many times and the pace at which Mags spoke, was just impressive. Fancier or not, his shows were amazing. If I remember correctly, he once had a show of one full day, although I’m not sure about this.
And then we had DJ Sylv. A player who got hated, mostly because she had a ‘relation’ with Sabin, an old administrator. Her shows were, in my opinion, great because she listened to her audience. She played a lot requests and she also talked in her shows about Bootleggers happenings. Great memories about a great feature, so is it time for the return of The Bootleggers Bootcast?
