On Sunday 19th August at around 2 P.M. Bootleggers time, Aldarion received an anonymous party invitation at a BnB in Erie, Pennsylvania. He accepted this invitation and turned up to the BnB, where he had a private room. He entered his room, sat down and poured himself a glass of complimentary champaign. After finishing his glass he fell unconscious, realizing that there was a sleeping drug hidden inside the bottle.
When he awoke there was a strange man in the room with him and he was tied up, his hands behind his back and his feet to a chair within the hotel room. The man told him that he had been kidnapped and was going to be held hostage for the sum of $3,000,000 and that if he could pay up he would be released, but if he couldn't then he had to hope that Sky or the HDO would protect their beloved Moderator. There would be violence used if he didn't. Aldarion's only reply was “I am on a business trip and all of my funds have been locked in an account I cannot access until I am home. All I can offer you is the contents of my wallet $500.”
Another man entered the room whilst the first man left. This man had a slightly wild look in his eyes as he approached Aldarion. He told Aldarion that so far there had been no positive replies from any of his colleagues. He wondered if perhaps the Moderators had gone a step too far when they muted the HDO and if that meant the HDO wouldn't care what happened to him now.
The first man had arranged for a courier to deliver a message to Sky explaining that we had Aldarion. Sky almost laughed when he received the message, caring very little about the fate of Aldarion. He even went so far as to tell us that he was glad we took Aldarion but that we would have to release him soon because there was work to be done.
Upon hearing this response the first man returned to the hotel with a camera. He took out a hammer and smashed it down upon Aldarion's little finger on his left hand, breaking it badly. Aldarion, to his credit, did not cry out in pain. Yet. A photo was taken of the finger and sent off to Sky to prove that we meant business. The only reply was that he wouldn't pay us a penny.
A black bag was pulled over Aldarion's head and the second man hit him over the head a few times before forcing him to his feet. He led Aldarion outside of the hotel room and down the stairs where Aldarion let out a might scream for “Help”, but was cut off as he was hit on the back of the head and fell heavily to the floor. His keys were fished out of his pocket and he was loaded into the back of his own Duesenberg, which he drove to the hotel.
For 40 minutes the car drove on, tossing Aldarion around and seemingly to drive in random directions. Aldarion, who tried to track the route, had no idea where they were now. Eventually the car turned onto a dirt road before pulling up somewhere about 5 minutes later. The boot was opened and Aldarion was once again hit over the head before being pulled out and shipped inside a cellar.
The second man was left alone with Aldarion. “Its time we show them we mean business. We never intended to hurt you, but we need that money.” He grabbed a metal device from a tool rack nearby and ripped off Aldarion's hood. What went on was too gruesome for this news report, but needless to say Aldarion screamed this time. Various body parts were attacked, a few were removed and turned into fashionable necklaces. Each part was sent individually to Sky.
At the first gift Sky gave them back a package. Inside was a pile of ashes and a small piece of leather with a metal clip attached. The burnt and damaged metal clip said “Fluffy”. The note said that these were the ashes of Fluffy, the second man's childhood pet. The message said “If you mess with the EG, someone goes to the grave.”
At the second gift another packaged was given to them. It arrived in their safe house where they asked for the money to be shipped. Inside the rather large red box there was a ticking sound. With a sharp look at each other they very carefully opened the package. Inside was a clock and a note. The note said “This very easily could have been a bomb. Return Aldarion to us now or the next one will be!”
They were scared now. They were clearly playing a game they were not prepared for. They thought it would be easy to force billionaires to give up a few million but clearly they were wrong. They tried to renegotiate for less money. They took their demands down to 2 million and a promise that Aldarion would be delivered to a hospital.
Sky's response to this was that they should kill Aldarion as Sky really didn't care. It seemed like Sky just wanted to stop receiving the threats. The second man in the partnership was getting nervous. “Perhaps we should just let him go now? We never intended to kill Aldarion... I don't want to be killed by a bomb, what about my wife?” The first pacified him. “Look we've come this far. Sky is bluffing! Sky wouldn't really kill Aldarion! Besides we've still got him. Look go get some Morphine and I'll cut some more parts off him to send to Sky.”
They did just that. They sent more body parts to Sky including a thumb! A note attached said “Your failure to send the cash has angered me somewhat please open the enclosed package to find Aldarion's Thumbs as Ear Rings please enjoy this gift." Aldarion responded to them, through his groggy haze saying “I cannot give you a thumbs down for that.” Even in the face of torture he still kept his bad humour.
Another box appeared before the two criminals. They peel open the tape that seals the box, and peer in. They see an elaborate series of wires, and hear a click. A plume of dust explodes in their face and consumes the entire room, billowing out of the door until it surrounds the entire building. When it eventually clears, they notice a message written in blood on the bottom. "This could've so easily been anthrax, as it happens it's laundry detergent. At least you smell better now."
The first man notices in the corner of the box is a smaller box, which appears to be damp and leaky. He hesitantly touches it, and find it is freezing cold. As he opens it, he comes face to face with the bluest eyes he has ever seen. They spark a memory of your childhood sweetheart. The card inside confirms the identity and continues: "I'm done playing games with you now."
Panicking now, the second man almost runs for it. The first one calms him and quotes “An eye for an eye.” Yet another package is sent to Sky. The attached note says "You fail to notice your constant petting of my anger is now slowly killing Aldarion. I need the money in 5 minutes and Aldarion may get to the hospital in time”.
The two men turn to Aldarion, who has been given morphine, at this point hoping for a resolution. The conversation goes like this: “One of your eyes have been removed and other, more painful parts. If the money doesn't come were leaving you here to bleed to death.” Aldarion replied with: “What if I were to meet a woman, I could only see her with one eye!” He didn't seem to be hearing everything, probably due to the Morphine. The first man replied with: “Well you can blame Sky for that because he keeps going one step too far and making me do crazy things. Whats 2 million to you eh?” Aldarion blinked, with his one eye left, and replied quite simply: “A lot.” The first man, really angry and impatient now said: “Well maybe we can make a deal 1.5 mill and I'll drop you off at the nearest hospital.” Aldarion responded with: “$250,000 and not a penny more”. The offers were clearly dropping fast. The two men wanted something to walk away with and Aldarion wanted to walk away. Sky had basicely told them to just let Aldarion die as there was no shared blood between them.
The first man said: “You see the situation you're in. You see the situation I'm in. 1 million and I won't drop any lower than that. Your choice.” Aldarion replied: “Ok, kill me.” He had given up, knowing he could not get that much money. The first man, exasperated, gave away his game card: “You see I don't want to kill you I got into this for the money Sky isn't paying up maybe I should wait till Mika comes to visit the town. Ok here's the final closing deal 500k and you get a free ride to the hospital.” Aldarion picked up, hope in his eye: “Wait for Sky or Mika please!”
But the first man had been bluffing: “You will be dead before Mika arrives to town.” Aldarion laughed and said “But you don't know when he'll arrive...” The first man said “Send me 500k and you will not have to wait will you!” Aldarion simply said “I don't have it.” So the man searched Aldarion and found out that Aldarion had just 100 bullets on himself and was wearing a layered fabric vest and no money whatsoever. They could not find a gun.
The first man gave up and removed a bandage covering a severed body part which had an artery. “You are of no use to me now. Your final chance, the money your you are dead.” Aldarion uttered one final word... “Death.”
The two men sadly walk away leaving him tied up to bleed to death in a basement, shutting the door behind them. They are now on the run. They do not know if Sky or Mika or even the HDO's are out looking for them for killing their friend but it doesn't look like we have seen the last of these would-be criminals who had now committed murder.
The two criminals have since split up and the second man heard that the first tried a similar tactic on Mika the next day but Mika, being smarter and prepared, killed the first man on site and did not fall for the party rouse!
