Making pictures was only for the elite, for the ones that knew their way around the graphic programs. But the further in time, the more picture makers popped in the game. When we look at the game forum now, almost everyone is able to make pictures (whether the pictures are decent or not), so the uniqueness of being a ‘pro’ pic maker has faded away to ‘just another pic maker’. But this week, we saw a pic maker that managed to put himself in the spotlight on a original way.
mRk decided that he wanted to make pictures, for free.

Now, we have seen a lot of picture makers that made pictures ‘for free’, but the quality of those pictures also looked like they were free. But the pictures from mRkare different. A variety of styles, fonts, colors and sizes proves that this player is not just a random pic maker. mRk told us that he has been studying graphic design & multimedia for 3 years. Before that, he was an animated GIF maker and paint user.
The first question that popped in our head was of course : Why make pictures for free, when a lot of people ask money for them? mRk responded : Ehm..i've been in the hospital for 11 days now and as known there is not much to do. So i decided to make a thread and give people free pictures and practice/improve my skills through feedback from other people.
I've been asked alot of times if i was expecting any cash etc..all i ask is to give me some feedback and i leave it up to them if they want to donate cash or points so i can continue doing my thing.
It is pretty nice to hear from people they like my designs, still getting compliments and donations every once in a while.
And as we can see in the topic, a lot of people have made donations after receiving their free picture, showing their respect and gratitude. It is up to mRk to decide whether the free pictures will remain free, but as far as he told us, he will continue this for some time. With already a que of customers, the question is whether mRk can keep up with al the request from his customers. Well, ‘customers’, or ‘people that support my work’ like mRk says.
