Kill still isn’t working. Boo! But crews are still being sold/ disbanded this early in the round! Earlier this week, The Urban Uprising, which owned the second crew spot on the statistics, was suddenly sold to Naamloos, unbeknown to the previous Urban Uprising members. Naamloos bought the crew from The Urban Uprising boss WestSideGee. Rumoured to be sold at 5,000 points. Once Naamloos became boss of the crew, he soft kicked all the current members of the spot and slowly recruited new and different players for his own crew, Ground Zero.
The Buzz tried to contact Naamloos about the sale of the crew but unfortunately did not receive a reply from him. We also contacted WestSideGee but he declined to comment on the sale of the crew. Judging by his profile it was pretty obvious to see that he has quit Bootleggers for a personal reason.
We then spoke to previous The Urban Uprising members and asked on their opinions on the crew being sold and them being kicked out. The Buzz first spoke to WarEnsemble, who stated that they were not warned about the crew being sold. WarEnsemble felt a little disappointed that there was no topic made on the crew forum about this before the sale took place. Due to this he has lost a lot of respect for WestsideGee and Naamloos.
The Buzz then contacted DragonSlayer for his personal views on this. DragonSlayer he spoke to WestSideGee but only got vague answers from him. WestSideGee did tell DragonSlayer he was going to sell the crew but it was all done in such a hurry. DragonSlayer summed up his views by stating “His crew, his time, his money, He decides."
We spoke to one more ex-Urban Uprising crew member, Treadstone, who stated that he didn’t care that WestSideGee sold the crew “He was a dumbass.” Treadstone also said “He was a terrible crew boss who had no plans for the crew.”
So judging by this sale it received a mixed opinion from the previous members of The Urban Uprising. Some have lost respect for WestSideGee and some didn’t care at all. But if you’re going to quit the game for good, respect technically doesn’t matter as WestSideGee claims he will no longer return. What do you, the readers, think of the sale?
