After quite a few boring weeks, we finally witnessed some action this week. It all started with the death of a few crewless, high ranked accounts (Godfather – Legendary Don). Approximately ten accounts were killed. Only ten, that’s not a big deal right? Correct, but almost two billion dollars left the game during these killings. Two billion! That’s an amount with nine zero’s! But which smartass was able to kill those accounts? The Buzz had a look at the forums and noticed the name Ivar quite a few times. It was a crewless Don with a simple profile. Just when we wanted to bootmail him, the next shooting started. This time no crewless accounts, but the crew Padrinos Palace. All members got killed, however the crew didn’t drop because Eruna, a banned player, was holding the crew. For the record, Eruna was already holding the spot before the shooting. That’s why the Moderators didn’t take any action.
During the shooting The Buzz received several witness statements. Unfortunately they were all less than 50%. Not very interesting, but again, we noticed the username Ivar. When the shootings were done, we contacted him. After a few minutes we received a reply, but he was denying everything. A dead end, but we didn’t believe him. His way of replying our messages wasn’t right, he was hiding something! After some hours, we wanted to contact him again and went to his profile. We noticed a new 300x300 on his profile. A picture which wasn’t there when we contacted him the first time. The picture contained some sort of Buddha and a name; Asura. We at The Buzz had a feeling we saw the picture before, but we didn’t know where. After some investigation we knew who did the shootings; Ivar. According to our investigation The Asuras are, in the Hindu mythology, a group of power-seeking gods. Now, we at The Buzz didn’t know a lot about the Hinduism, but we do have some common sense. So according to our investigation, this happened: when Ivar was finished killing, he edited his profile with a new picture. A picture with a name of ‘power-seeking gods’. We at The Buzz found it a perfect name for an underground crew. Of course, this is just a speculation. Now it was time to contact the other side; Padrinos Palace.
We contacted the boss of Padrinos Palace; Magnesium (aka Sulphur). We asked him if he had any idea who shot his crew. He replied: ‘From the various Witness Statements that we have collected it became clear that Ivar and Zero were the shooters but as to the root of the shooting, we are no closer to determining whether they acted for themselves or on behalf of someone else’. Very interesting, because we at The Buzz didn’t know there was a second shooter. Also remarkable was the profile of the second shooter; Zero. His profile didn’t contain a 300x300 picture with Asura on it. Well, not everyone is allowed to play God on Sundays. We asked Magnesium if he had any idea why his peaceful crew got shot. He stated: ‘Unfortunately not. Padrinos Palace pride ourselves on be respectful, honorable and loyal. Any disputes that have arisen are either misunderstandings or have been resolved swiftly. As such we have very few enemies. I am disappointed that if it was a problem with one of our members the accuser didn't come and speak to me or my council’. This means the motive remains unclear. Although, according to Magnesium the person who can give him some useful information about the shooting will be rewarded.
But the action wasn’t finished yet! One hour after the shooting on Padrinos Palace, more accounts got murdered. This time a few Dons and Legendary Dons were killed. Was this also a shooting by Ivar and/or Zero? We at The Buzz have no clue, so we appreciate some information regarding this matter. A shooting with not many facts, nevertheless a very good shooting.
At this moment Padrinos Palace is back on the statistics, although they didn’t change the crew name of their crew spot yet (Death Row). We at The Buzz wish them all the best luck with building up again and let’s hope they don’t get attacked by those Buddha’s again. If you have any information regarding this shooting or about Asura, feel free to contact us. We will definitely keep you updated in the next Bootleggers Buzz!
