How to join?!
If you want to participate, youfll need a microphone. Of course, you can also use your phone/iPod/etc. to record yourself. Alright, you can record yourself, now what?! Well, now itfs time to sing!
Please remember that we only want to receive music files. We donft have to see your face nor your whole act. However, itfs allowed to film yourself, itfs just not required. How to send in your audition will be explained later in this article.
Your audition!
You can sing every song you like, but we appreciate an English song. If you want to sing a Dutch song (or any other language) go ahead, itfs all fine with us. Before you start to sing you have to say which song youfre going to sing and youfll have to say: The Voice of Bootleggers. This is to prevent cheating. Alright, you have chosen a song and youfre just about to start singing. To make it easier for you, itfs allowed to use some background music. However, we donft want to hear any lyrics from the original artist. A tip; get a karaoke version of your song. Alright! You picked a song, you got your background music, now what?! Finally, itfs time to sing! But for how long?! Itfs totally up to you how long you want to sing. Thirty seconds or the whole song, itfs all ok with us!
Now, youfre finished with your audition and you recorded yourself. Now what?! You have several options now. Itfs allowed to send in a Youtube video, but you can also E-mail your audition to: thevoiceofbootleggers@gmail.com. Your audition will only be used for this giveaway, nothing else. Ifm the only person who has access to the auditions.
Prizes!!!
In this giveaway you can win several prizes, but it will depend on the amount entries. The actual prize is still a secret, but herefs an overview of HOW you can win the prizes:
1) The best singer;
2) The worst singer;
3) The most original audition;
