So it is nine years since Bootleggers started up. Well I have only spent a year on the site, between this current time and when I was here before. I've missed a lot but I still have some great memories! So here are some of my personal prolific moments:
My best BL moment this round? That is not an easy one to answer. Strangely it was the first time I died this round, back on Voluns. The way I was treated when I came back, the requests to join different crews, so many people asking if I needed an OC, a few people sent me some cash to get started with again. Knowing I had that many people on here that were prepared to help me get started, it was just an incredible feeling.
My best BL moment ever? Finding the site. I'm sure everyone can understand that finding this place, be it through luck or word of mouth, was such a great discovery. Maybe I've spent countless hours here but I've had fun. I've made lots of friends and it's a great way to kill time.
If I could change just one thing? I'd have more people read the Buzz. Everyone who works on the articles puts in a lot of work. I can only speak for myself when I say this, but I'm happy to do it. However it would be nice to know that it was something the entire community read rather then just a few people!
In terms of the current state of the game, its not the best it has ever been. The game has issues, we all know that. But the game is still great! It has interesting players and we still have a lot of interaction! Lots could be done to fix it but less complaining would also make the site a better place!
Final thoughts? Thanks to everyone who does read the Buzz and a very Happy Birthday to Bootleggers. Thanks BSF for creating this wonderful game. Whilst not perfect, it's still a lot of fun!
