A massive shoot out occurred this week. Bullets were flying everywhere and crew less accounts dropped left, right and down the centre states. But more importantly an established, and powerful, crew was taken from the Stats this week. The Buzz was, as always, there to cover the event. Dodging bullets, ducking and diving down allies and passageways in various states we managed to get a good look at the killer. But every time we tried to get close to the shooter, Monica, she was moving on ready to target more accounts!
When we finally did approach her we were told "Sorry I have already sold my story!" We at The Buzz are interested to know who buys The Family's silence! Is there a rival newspaper out there? Are you trying to steal our custom? If so that sounds like war!
Back to the topic on hand. After Event Horizon were shot their two Bullet Factories were picked up by a very rich and lucky thug called MRHB. Investigating him he seemed a little bit too rich and we discovered he was also a member of The Family! So what did The Family have against Event Horizon?
We probed deeper and spoke to Betty the crew boss of Event Horizon. We asked her about a rumour we heard. The rumour was that every night Event Horizon shot one or two random accounts hoping to hit The Black Horde or The Family members. She told us “No truth to that rumour at all. Nice that people think we are to tough though.” We changed topic and turned to the reasons behind Event Horizon being targeted. She told us: “The Family shot us, that in itself says enough. I believe that they are trying to do the same to the game that they did last round so this was going to happen eventually.” For those of you who weren't here at the end of last round The Family locked down the game and killed anyone who was Boss rank or higher. She went on to tell us “We've known for a while that The Family would shoot us, just didn't know when.”
Betty was keen to tell us “Our revenge will come, stay tuned.” We at the Buzz are sure that no one will be surprised to hear that and we will all keep our eyes open for the attack back. However it was now time to discuss The Phoenix Rebellion who managed to pick up one of Event Horizon's Bullet Factory, “The Phoenix Rebellion is working for The Family, have known that since The Family paid them to wipe Event Horizon.” When we pushed her for proof of that allegation, unfortunately she had this to say “Only rumours and that The Family accounts keep popping up in The Phoenix Rebellion.”
We then turned to Betty for some closing statements. She had this to say to her attackers: “I hope they choke on moose dick.” Looking to the future she told us “You will see our short term plans soon enough.” Finally she had some closing thoughts to share with all of the readers “I want to add this: I would really like to see all the people playing who are not with TF to ban together and beat TF and their leaches into dust. Don't let them put the game back to the same spot it was for so long the end of last round” and one final, more personal message: “if BSF would pull his thumb out and put right the important aspects of the game instead of casinos it would greatly help!
Even worse then the dreaded crew wipe was what happened the next day after they managed to get their Bullet Factories back! More accounts started to die. This time the shooter was linked to The Family and The Phoenix Rebellion! The shooter was Prototype (with a few rogue Witness Statements suggesting it may have been a member or two from The Phoenix Rebellion as well!)
Just over 30 high ranked accounts were shot. It almost seems like an attack against The Black Horde, trying to find out the high ranked members of Underground Crews. 500 million dollars was removed from the game so it doesn't seem likely to have been shooting for money. But the most interesting attack was on the Bullet Factory in Illinois. It was held by Keisha from Event Horizon, but during the attack the previous nights shooter, Monica picked it up. So Keisha got shot again! But even more strange was that the Bullet Factory was given to BuisnessAsUsual.
The plot thickens! We approached BuisnessAsUsual who was happy to talk to us but didn't give us any real answers. He confirmed that The Phoenix Rebellion were behind the evenings shootings and that their ultimate goals were to "Get money and **** bitches." Very... informative! But is this the end of the story? Surely not! A lot of those accounts were powerful and will be fighting back as I'm sure Event Horizon will be! We at the Buzz wonder if there will be a race for The Phoenix Rebellion or if they will get away scot free with their attacks?
The story continued on Saturday Evening, because The Buzz noticed two things. The first was that Prototype, the shooter, was banned. What ramifications this has upon his shootings on Friday evening, only time will tell. The second was that, as promised, Event Horizon did take revenge and shot The Phoenix Rebellion to claim their Bullet Factories back. Is this the start of a fierce battle? Only time will tell! In case something happens, we'll let you know in the next Bootleggers Buzz!
