On 16/11/2012 another shooting took place in the Bootlegging world! It started with several high ranks inside crews dropping, followed by a few crew-less accounts. But who was behind this attack and what was the motive? The Buzz went to investigate to try and figure out what exactly was going on!
We started out by contacting possible shooters who's names were on the witness statements, one of those accounts being Odysseus2. When we fist contacted Odysseus2 he told us he wasn't the shooter and just a, “friendly” player. After further inspection and more witness statements with the name Odysseus2 on, we figured he was the shooter and approached him again. This time he was happy to speak to us but told us, “Sure, although I doubt it will be very interesting story. No hidden conspiracy or reason for shooting.” This was good news for the Buzz, because we had found our shooter!
We asked Odysseus2 if there was really absolutely no reason as to why he shot these accounts? He did give us a long reply though: “Well I've been stocking for like two months now and figured it's been way too quiet recently on bl. I figured that sometime soon TF or other big crews are going to start shooting again and looking for ug shooters and bankers. After all this work stocking I knew I wanted to shoot somebody soon before I get shot myself and miss out. Now what most people are interested in and have been asking me is why those people. Some friends of mine were hoping I'd be shooting ug shooters and bankers and I thought about that. I also thought about shooting all the BF holders and seeing what happened or shooting as many casino holders as I could to see how many I could get to drop. I also considered wiping a crew, but to be honest there isn't a single crew on stats now that I have a problem with. So last night I got back from thirsty thursdays at the bars and was pretty wasted and started searching these guys. I know I wanted to shoot some r.dons and l.dons and I was able to get 5. The others were just a few people I thought might drop some serious cash but only ended up dropping about 90mill. Anyways, was pretty random and was the result of a recently boring bl and dollar shots.” A very fair reply, after all this is a shooting game, dog eat dog world and all that!
We wanted to know if Odysseus2 was affiliated with a group of people, maybe a crew? He told us, “This was all done with my funding and was not a shooting affiliated with any crew. That's all I will say.” This was definitely a very mysterious reply, surely there is more to it and we felt as if he was holding back slightly. We probed a little deeper and asked if we could expect more shootings from this player in the future? He said, “I haven't decided yet to be honest. I plan on taking a couple weeks break from bl and then I will probably come back and casually play. Doubt I will start stocking again. Bullets are getting too expensive and the whole process is seriously time consuming.” Maybe he was legitimate when he told us he wasn't working with any one then, if he will only return as a casual player.
Rounding up the interview we asked how many bullets and what gun were used in the shootings, he told us he had used a, “BAR and 450k bullets.” Impressive! Our final question for Odysseus2 was if he had anything he would like to add? He told us, “Ya I just shot my last guy. Took 11.5 hrs to find him.” So there we have it, shooting finished and so was the interview! We at the Buzz are dubious as to whether this will be the end of this mysterious player and his high ranked shootings. Only time will tell. If it's not and we see some more shootings, you can be sure the Buzz will have it covered!
