Event Horizon Wiped ShyGuyIV

Last week we witnessed, again, the wipe of Event Horizon. The Buzz didn’t have enough time to do a proper investigation, so we decided to write it in this week’s Issue. We contacted BettyB, the crew boss of Event Horizon. She’s not only the crew boss of Event Horizon, but also one of the most hated person on Bootleggers. Why? A good question and probably worth an article, but for now; the wipe of Event Horizon. The Buzz asked her if she had any idea why her crew got killed. She stated: ‘No idea why EH was shot, different rumours say diff things, have the shooter working on behalf of diff crews, and that he shot random accts unknown by EH thinking they were EH’. We asked Betty why Event Horizon is coming back after all the wipes. Isn’t it smarter to hide underground instead of getting shot every week? She replied: ‘Isn't it better that we come back and be bullet catchers than we just give up and go away? Don't you think if EH gave up and went away that the people too scared to show themselves on stats would feel that they come out ahead’. An interesting strategy, but also a very dangerous one. Everyone knows that joining a crew is becoming pointless. The fact that Event Horizon is getting shot isn’t really a great benefit of joining a crew. We asked Betty if she’s scared of losing members because of the happenings. Betty told us that Event Horizon lost a few members, but mostly because they didn’t have enough time to rank up and being able to help the crew. We continued asking her opinion about the fact that her members are getting killed every week. She replied: ‘I'd be a big liar if I said no. I would think it would bother any decent crew boss to see their members being targeted and shot over and over. Especially since we all know there isn't a blessed thing I can do to stop it because a stats crew is nothing more than a sitting target thanks to BSF and his non-existent updates’. Anger because of the ‘useless’ crew feature, which is understandable in the position of Betty. So what’s Event Horizon going to do now? They will probably come back again and be shot again. But you don’t win a war with doing nothing. We asked Betty when Event Horizon is starting to shoot some players. She replied: ‘We'd love to shoot, be a lot easier if we had an idea who to shoot. As it is all we can do is watch users online, see if there are any accts we think could be suspicious and shoot them. Chances are higher that we would shoot innocent people than that we'd shoot anyone targeting EH though’. I guess we won’t see any shooting from Event Horizon’s side. It was time to contact some real diehard shooter; redrhythm, the killer of Event Horizon.

A shooter who is still unbanned, which is rare in the past weeks. We asked redrhythm why his crew shot Event Horizon and not some other random crew. He replied: ‘In light of the recent controversy surrounding Event Horizon and a certain moderator, I thought I would pitch in and clear up any notion that EH were being protected by some kind of Mika coloured force field. Assuming I don't get banned for some made up reason, I think I have actually done EH a favour, death medals all round’. Death medals, you got to love them. We continued the interview with a question about the Asura. We have seen several shootings of the crew, but we rarely know them. We asked redrhythm to tell something about his crew. According to redrhythm Asura is a small group of players who are all playing underground. They are playing to shoot as Asura and sometimes anonymously. But what is the goal of Asura? Domination, just like The Family? Not exactly, redrhythm stated: To try and level the playing field, remove large crews, take out high ranked shooters etc. Essentially it is about survival right? If I had not used my account to shoot some people, someone would have shot me eventually, and that's no fun’. One of the goals is removing large crews, but what does that mean? Are they attacking crews on the statistics only or do they target underground crews as well? We asked redrhythm if his crew is against The Family, one of the strongest underground crews on Bootleggers. ‘We are not against The Family, let's put it that way, was his reply. We wanted to ask more questions, but unfortunately we weren’t able to contact redrhythm after he got killed. When will Asura shoot again and who will be their new target? They wiped Event Horizon and they are not against The Family. Asura, an interesting crew with a lot secrets. The Buzz can’t wait to find out more about the mysterious crew. In case we find something interesting we’ll share it in the next Bootleggers Buzz.
