Hello and welcome to BSF's 2000 Characters. With just a little more than 6 weeks to go until the end of this year, it's important that the currently in-progress projects get themselves wrapped up and completed to allow for the next batch of items to get started as soon as the new year begins. So for the coming weeks that's exactly what's going to be happening to ensure that occurs. I haven't decided if this will be my last issue of this year or if there will be one more in mid-December. This will depend on the circumstances at the time. Either way, I'll be starting my first issue in the new year highlighting the upcoming features and plans for that quarter and for that year in general. Which is why I'm skeptical about a mid-December issue as a more comprehensive and informative issue would likely be just a couple more weeks ahead of that. But we'll cross that road when we get there.
I mentioned last issue about the possibility of an additional programmer being very likely. The possibility has turned into a reality and we now have an additional programmer who will be helping with the coding: Sky. He has decided to offer his programming skills to the game and I could not be more pleased to have him helping out. His primary duties to start will be fixing the various bugs as well as minor updates and tweaks throughout the game. This should help the game out tremendously. I'd like to thank Sky for deciding to expand his role in the game and we should be seeing some of his contributions begin to pop up shortly.
A few things to look for this week will be the long awaited FAQ as well as a few tweaks to the Gymnasium. And then sometime before the year is up, assuming the world doesn't actually end in December like some people would have you believe, will be the release of the major features that have been in the works. This will then set us on course for 2013. There's some really awesome stuff planned for Q1 of 2013 and with Sky now lending a hand things should move along even(2000) better. But discussion of those plans will be reserved for my opening issue in 2013.
As I mentioned, this may very well be my last issue this year so if that indeed ends up being the case than I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating your holidays and I look forward to a bright future with you all in the new year.
