This week on Bootleggers we seen one of the biggest shooting sprees of the round. We haven't seen crews drop like this since The Phoenix Rebellion shot at Gangsters Sanctuary, Event Horizon and La Onda. The crews that had been shot at were, long standing Padrinos Palace, Vatos Locos and Coscas Origin. In this article I will try to bring to you a point of view from every one involved. As always, the Buzz was first on the scene looking for clues to bring us to the shooter. After a while searching through witness statements, we found two names that were popping up more than any others, Reclaim and scarycanary. Reclaim resembled a picture on his profile, with the name Tops while scarycanary had put at the bottom of his profile, “AKA NYC”. Both of these players are members of the all too familiar underground crew, The Family and had claimed the kills on their profiles, but they didn't claim any of the Vatos Locos kills. We decided to try our luck and bootmail Reclaim to see if he could shed some light on these recent shootings, we were in luck!
First of all, we thanked Reclaim for agreeing to interview and moved onto our first question, we asked if he was shooting alone, or was he shooting with an accomplice? He told us, “I was shooting with Scarycanary yes” This confirmed our earlier suspicions. Moving on, we were interested as to why Reclaim and The Family had targeted these specific crews? He said, “Different reasons actually, can not give you all information but i`m sure you noticed that we took care of the crews that are helping eh out holding bf`s.” So it seems to be another Event Horizon related attack, we had two questions for him next. Was this a direct message to crews that were looking to aid Event Horizon in their war? Also, during the shootings an account from the crew J.A.I.L was took down, were they next on the chopping board? “Indeed, if you try to help out EH we will get to them eventually. Can not comment on that jail account sorry.” No further accounts from J.A.I.L were shot although the account that was killed was posted as a claimed kill on one of the shooters profiles.
Continuing with the interview, we turned our attention to both Pennsylvania and Illinois bullet factories, as they seem to swapping hands like hot potato's recently. We asked Reclaim if The Family now regard both of these properties as their own, or if it was just another way of trying to get under Event Horizons skin? To which he replied, “Nah EH will get them back I guess, but eventually they will get shot again. like a vicious circle lol.” Interesting, we finished off our interview with Reclaim asking him if he had any final words, maybe a message for Event Horizon? We also asked him if he could include what gun and how many bullets were used in his part of the shooting? His message was loud and clear. “Cant give you any info about resources and gun sorry. To crews that decide to help EH, your actions are noted. Every action has consequences.” Strong words.
Next up, we wanted to speak to the crew bosses who had suffered from this shooting, so first off we spoke to TheSettlerV3, boss of Coscas Origin. We started off by simply asking him if he could share a few words for the Buzz, his reply was very interesting, “This is my word for the buzz - Congrats TF! Now let's see how long you will last hiding in the bushes. And Kraake: I'm slightly disappointed in you.” Very strange, for those of you who don't know, Kraake is one of the inner-core members of The Family. So what kind of relationship did TheSettlerV3, we asked him to elaborate on what he meant by his previous message? He told us, “I can't, sorry, but he will understand.” This was a shame indeed. Nevertheless, we continued speaking to TheSettlerV3.
Our next question for TheSettlerV3 was why? Why did he believe that Coscas Origin was attacked? His answer was clear and he seemed to already know the reason, “because we were housing Penny BF.” We noticed TheSettlerV3 mentioned that The Family would no longer be able to, “hide in the bushes”. This seemed like he wasn't going to let this drop and wanted to retaliate, was this the case? Yet another certain response, “Most certainly”. With this in mind, we asked if he thought he could do what every one else has failed to do so far and actually beat The Family? “My goal is not to beat The Family. I'm simply seeking revenge over my dead family as well as some other good friends whom have died during a TF-spree. After I've had my revenge I will move on. An eye for an eye.” To wrap up the interview, we asked if TheSettler had any final words for the Buzz, we got a strange reply, “Well, from what I've heard Keisha is pretty god damn sexy.” We at the Buzz must remain unbiased, so we think that every Bootlegger is sexy in their own individual way!
Next, we wanted to speak with Padrinos Palace so decided to bootmail ex Buzz writer and boss of Padrinos Palace - Magnesium, current account Zinc. First of all we thanked Zinc for agreeing to interview and dived in with our first question, the same thing we asked TheSettlerV3, why were Padrinos Palace targeted? “We're guessing because of the BF. It's unfortunate really due to the fact we only used it for profit. As we've said on multiple occasions we're a friendly crew, have no real enemies and are always happy to discuss issues.” Confusion arose as their were two bullet factories located inside Padrinos Palace, we asked Zinc if he was referring to Illinois bullet factory? “Nope the BF in Illi belongs to EH. We only owned the Nevada BF. Betty was visiting the crew and wanted to bring it with her.”
We explained the reasoning behind the shootings, that they were shot for housing Illinois bullet factory for Event Horizon and we asked Zinc if he would like to share his thoughts on it? He replied, “Ah interesting. Well as I say, Betty was visiting us. She was planning on a visit anyway and it seemed opportune seeing as EH had been wiped. We're happy to help people and it would seem, if what you say is indeed true, that we've been shot for being kind. As for helping out EH we have no alliance with them but merely wished Betty to visit.” Now so far this round, Padrinos Palace have been known as the friendly crew, but was this about to change? Was retaliation on the cards? “We are a friendly crew and have always helped anyone in need. To say be shot for helping a specific crew is pointless, however these things happen and we will, of course, not sit idle. PP believes that a crew is one that is on the stats. I think this is yet another example of how desperately BL needs to update the crew system.” The Buzz loves a crew war! We asked if he would join forces with any of the other crew affected in this shooting? “We act as PP alone. Whilst we have our allies we can fight our corner and win our battles. Our goal is not to destroy those who took us down, whilst we will fight back, our goal is to build back up to where we were and beyond to come back even stronger again. Whilst Betty visited our crew we have no formal alliance with them and my understanding is that we will continue as normal.” We thanked Zinc for being so informative and for his time and we look forward to seeing what will happen with Padrinos Palace in the future.
Our final interviewee was MasterrM, one of the bosses of Vatos Locos. Now here is the twist in our story so far, both scarycanary and Reclaim posted all of their kills on their profiles. Not one of those kills were a Vatos Locos member, although the members who died were shot at the exact same time as Coscas Origin and Padrinos Palace. The Buzz wanted to investigate! We started with the same question we asked the other two crew-bosses, why did he think Vatos Locos was targeted? He told us, “First we thought we were shot by the 2 shooters taking down PP and CO. But it turns out that both had nothing to do with the killings of VL, as far as their profile tells. We got some WS statements but none we found reliable enough yet. We do of course have some suspicions on who it could be but we'll keep that to ourselves.” We asked if he thought that The Family were the culprits, to which he replied a short but sweet, “Maybe, maybe not....”
MasterrM said that he had suspicions about who was behind the attack, would these suspicions be brought to life and will Vatos Locos be retaliating against those they believe had shot them? Another short but to the point answer, “We will definitely take down the ones that were behind this!” We wanted to probe into relationship between Vatos Locos and Padrinos Palace, Ovid was once boss of Padrinos Palace and is now boss of Vatos Locos. As well as that, they had been passing Nevada bullet factory between both crews, we asked if there was any kind of alliance between the two? He told us, “We have good contacts with PP yes.” It didn't look like MasterrM wanted to give much away! We asked if he thought that both of these crews were shot for the same reason? “you would say that but why is none of the VL members on their profile then as they like to show off their accomplishments.” We concurred that it was very strange indeed. We asked for a final word from MasterrM asking him if we could expect to see more from Vatos Locos this round? He told us, “Of course, a few shots wont drop us!” This wrapped up our time with MasterrM.
So once again, The Family are behind another mass shooting, this time of two, maybe three crews! With each crew stating they are looking to seek revenge, have The Family finally bitten off more than they can chew? Will they finally be stopped? Can they be stopped? We at the Buzz cannot answer those questions, only time can tell the final answer and outcome of this on-going crew war.
